Beta testing tends to be in waves - it makes more sense to expose a small amount of people at first and broaden the scope as time goes on.
SORRY guys! I underestimated the demand a bit... you can send me an email with your Testflight email [email protected] and i'll add you.
Went through all the lessons, quite a bit to understand to be able to jump into the game.... A few things, the menu UI isn't as straightforward as card crawl... I didn't actually know you had to click on the map to start a game, kept trying to pull back up to the "card thief" logo... haha Other things, the board seems very dark, the cards almost blend into it, might want to brighten it up a touch. Played a few games and finally had a successful heist. Going to keep trying, seems like it takes some luck to win, but also probably the fact that I'm still learning and am not very skilled.... Had a few bugs when notes that pop up are off screen, or like half off of the screen. Other than that, it's going to be a very cool game, just not something you can jump into without fully understanding the lessons and rules.
That makes me excited ^ I'm hoping there is a pretty good amount of depth to it ! Can't wait to play this beta
@blue rocket thanks for the feedback. Especially the menu stuff is all wip. Tooltips offscreen is a good catch i'll take a look at this.
Loving it so far ! It does seem like there is a good amount of depth to it and I love this !! I don't believe in the tutorial it actually says what the "confirm" button is. I figured it out right away that you hold the card till the circle fills but I can see people getting frustrated. Time to dive back in ! =D
Still getting the hang of it, but the game plays and looks great. It states that the UI may be placeholders, but if you ask me it looks complete. Perhaps the "circle" confirmation hold press could be a tad shorter like in Card Crawl. Also, the game crashed a few times while trying to navigate/swipe around the "basement" and the map. Not sure if that's because it's a beta build or not.
Really like the atmosphere of this game, great art style and music. The gameplay itself feels fresh and new. I played the tutorial earlier today and wanted to give some feedback on it. I think it works well and nothing needs to be changed. Two things that caught me but I figured out- For some reason I thought I needed to move over every card before exiting. It took me a bit to realize that my path cannot cross itself. If this is happening to other players it might be worth adding a couple sentences to the tutorial.
