Hey please consider adding a small message when a player collects a lvl 1 chest. I also didn't realise this until I hovered on the chest. It could come as a bubble from a random character or something similar if you need immersion.
Just submitted 1.1. I've fixed the issue where lvl 1 chests don't drop insignias even if you need them. Also iCloud and more fixes.
I loved Card Crawl and I instabought this one. Love the artwork of it but the game is quite complex for me. I need a german gameplay video with some explanations :-D I watched ingame tutorial a lot but it's still hard for me. Hope to find it out.
I unlocked most upgrades, I'm stuck on gain over 30g in bonus treasure from a chest to upgrade the rope arrow. I finished a heist with 33g and a level 8 chest. Sorry I'm very confused
A few tips to help you out: if you clear all the cards in one round you get back 10 stealth. Also don't pick up the level 1 chest, it levels up every turn if you don't pick it. Sometimes it is better to just move only 2 or 3 times in a turn to keep your stealth.
I can't tell whether im not very good or this game is super dependent on luck. It seems the strategy is to bait guards into raising their strength and then getting into a position to backstab with a high difficulty path, yes? I just feel like I can never pull off a good move unless the cards land in my favor. Once the cards are dealt aren't the moves obvious? Can someone explain their strategy bc I'm kind of losing interest and think I must be missing something.
Read through previous parts of this thread, myself and others have explained much of the mechanics. The game is definitely not super dependent on luck, there is just somewhat of a steep learning curve.
I haven't done this one yet, but it kinda sounds like it wants you to pick up a level 30 chest...which the highest I've gotten a chest to so far is only like 13 or 14...well...and still been able to escape with it. I would say the little jar item that increases a cards value would be helpful here, along with a shit ton of stealth points..which the value increase item can help tremendously with...when the feet stealth cards are at 0....for instance...you can use the item without using up any of its uses at least once. I have gotten close to 40 stealth at one time using that method.
I would just say keep practicing and give it some time then. It's difficult to describe strategy, and everyone is different, being there is more than 1 strat. If you know the mechanics, then you just need to look for how to position yourself and the enemies to maximize loot gain, suvivability, and the best use of your cards/items.
Also you probably want to spend some time understanding how the scoring works and how to make the guards move.

Does that mean I cannot win the game because I have no stealth points left? Can I only exit the game from there? I don't get it. I know I need to have a two path but I can not tap a second one. Thanks for the help :-D
Thank you for responding. Is the bonus g from the main treasure chest? I guess I'm confused because I'm not sure how to see the 30g bonus. I'll keep playing with it.
@netherjade8 The chest tutorial explains it. @Kraudi2k yes this is a dead end. I've fixed that in the upcoming update. You will need to hit pause and restart here.
Ok, good to know, I knew chests gave a treasure amount, but I didn't think about the fact that it was not directly proportional to the chest value. Going to give the tutorial a second go.
