As much as I love, love, love carcassonne, comparing it to the just released ticket to ride, the lack of the expansions for this long is baffling. 3 expansions (5 if you consider the 2 extra expansions through the big city) and at a dollar each, makes me frustrated in how long the wait has been.
I like the GC update a lot, but yeah, I want those expansions already. Still, the quality in this game shows that they aren't twiddling their thumbs. I'll just have to try to be a bit more patient and I know the resulting update and DLC will be great.
Normal Game > Internet Make sure your normal Carcassonne account (using your email) is merged with GameCenter Tap "Play with Friends" You'll see a list of all your Carcassonne friends (there will be a little icon if they merged their accept with GC) Scroll down and you'll see all your GC friends that have Carcassonne, their pic, their meeple color, and their ELO Check the boxes of the opponents you want and then tap play to send the invite
Sold. And not just on one point alone. Existing multiplayer capability in the hand is worth more than some newfangled 'dream-solution' for a certain hex-grid game that some developer of another board game wants to first begin thinking about adding to his frog game instead.
Anyone know how to add a profile pic? I'm playing people with a personalised profile pic and I can't see how to add one.

To change your picture, click "Internet" from the main menu, then click the gear icon. You can edit your profile, including your icon, from the popup that appears. TanTan, my brother and I play every day. PM me your email and I will invite you to a game.
Do the achievements work in this game? A lot of the reviews on the App Store as saying that they don't sync. P.S is this game worth the high price tag?
Bought this game at 5$ and next day I ran to store to buy real board game for 40$.. so be aware.. it may cost you more than 10$

Recently got this... Can someone tell me how this is asynchronous? I had heard that you could play it like words with friends (quit the game, and be notified when it's your turn). However when I tried this in an online quick match I was told that the timer had run out so I had lost. Can someone explain?
Quick match is NOT asynchronous. Both players must be on and play the game through (To keep matches fast) Playing with Gamecenter friends however, is asynchronous since they are your friends and you can play at your leisure

This may have been discussed already but I'm not searching through the whole thread. Since the last update my game has been crashing constantly when I try to chat.
What device are you on? Chat is working flawlessly for me and my main opponent, on an iPhone 4 and 3GS, respectively.
