Reports of Apple using carbon-fibre in the shell of the new MacBook have been flying about. Apple have apparently hired Kevin Kenney, a boffin of somesort, which will give us some whip-ass tech! Personally speaking, last year I bought carbon-fibre Ray Bans and they're sooo much lighter than average sunglasses. So on a bigger iPhone/iPad scale, could be quite drastic.
It would be nice, but surely it would raise the cost by quite a bit? There have been rumours that Apple wants future generations of idevices to be more affordable.
