There is a plan for localisation in other languages ?

Not immediately but we'd never rule it out. There are a lot of things to figure out per language aside from the dictionaries of acceptable words. Things like letter distribution in the language, and offensive words to disallow, whether "N" can be played in place of "Ñ", etc.

I'm not generally a huge fan of word games but as I like the devs I downloaded this the other day from the CA store and I like it so far and I'm interested in giving it more of a try.

Thanks, that means a ton! It is the first multiplayer game we've made and I can't believe how much fun it was!

Now out worldwide and getting all my friends and family to play it! Fantastic game.

Hope you can build an online chat into it so we can torment our opponents more ;)

Played it now for the last hour and have to say: its amazing! Well done NimbleBit :)

I already purchased the 5 lives iAP because its so addicting and I want to support the devs. 25€ for unlimited lives is a bit steep tough.

    YES! :p

We were thinking of doing a system that used canned messages (similar to Hearthstone) since things can get offensive with free chat. What would you envision?

Canned messages are a very good idea in my opinion. Already saw some pretty impressive moves and it would be cool to just have something like a "nice!" or "impressive!" you can shout out for this moments. Or maybe just a "lol" for some funny words.

Be sure to post your Game Center nick here in the thread if you want non-randoms to play against! My GC handle is eeen.

Canned messages I find are good for say an online game of Pool where you quite often say "good shot" - my 2 most played (everyday) turn based games are Disc Drivin and WWF - both games have standard text chat which has worked well for years, usually playing against friends I know so NEVER had any abuse except in jest.

My Mum plays WWF against random players as well and she uses the text chat to get to know the players she now plays on a regular basis so canned messages would ruin this type of socialising. Just my opinion.

I'm glad your mom has been lucky enough not to run across any mean people! Not sure we could risk it though.

sweetdiss just wiped the floor with me! In my defense, it was my first game :) Now I'm playing a friend that lives locally. So much fun.

It seems like for the price of infinite lives, you'd include the customize unlock. Just my 2 pennies.

Thanks for the really nice social word game, Nimblebit!

Haha I'm not sure I wiped the floor exactly. It was a good game!

    It was! :)

I can only play on iPad (iPhone still has iOS 7) so I'll usually only be available in the evenings (eastern time USA). All day on weekends. My Game Center is in my signature, so feel free to send me game requests everyone!
