      When you comment on articles using the app it makes a disqus account for you

      then you go to your main disqus account on disqus.com and merge the 2 accounts

      Are you on ios 8? There's a couple of people on a thread who have same prob since updating to ios8

      Yeah, I'm on iOS 8. :( I was already logged in with my TA account, and I did go and merge all my accounts after reading the above (thanks!). Now I'm not getting the can't log in error but instead I'm getting error code 18 and "There was an error posting your comment."

      Alas. Guess it is just iOS 8 growing pains. I'll try to find that other thread for camaraderie at least.

      Same here seems the disqus api for the app is invalid.
      The first time I got the error it guided me to the app page on disqus.
      Not sure how to fix it.

      I have the same issue. I already merged the thing. Going to wait 24 hrs to see if it will work then!

      Worked from iPad mini retina running iOS 8.0.2! I will try later from my iPhone 6 running the same to see if it works. Yay!! Really fun to be able to comment again.

      Now when I try to log in I get:

      invalid_accesstoken, Invalid Access Token

      Seems to be working 100% for me, for whatever that's worth. Guess I am lucky!! I now even get e-mail notifications when someone replies to me.

      Actually my iPad is fine now.

      On my iPhone I had the above message, I fixed it by reinstalling. I still can't post thought as the "Post" button is greyed out. Also, I have "Enter your comment" written across the page I'm typing my comment in and if I type more than two lines then my text gets hidden behind that text.

      Turns out it is fine on the iPhone app if I use the default keyboard. It's only when I use Swiftkey that I get the issue I described above.
