Well most of you heard that Verizon is getting the iPhone 4 and I've been wanting it but somethings just not convincing me.... on the other hand I REALLY want the HTC Thunderbolt cause that thing is already getting hyped (and I love Android and I love iOS too) but I can't decide. I just have this awful gut feeling that if I buy the Thunderbolt instead of the iPhone that iOS 5 is gonna revamp everything and bring themes, more customization, and I'm gonna regret getting the Tbolt. I have asked Android forums now I'm just wanting to hear from both sides. Thanks for the help.
Why would you buy it in March? And who says iOS 5 is coming out by then? Might as well wait till June for the device update.
You'd probably get more "buy Android" votes in the Android forums, and more iPhone votes here. I can't really say which is better as I haven't used any Android phone, but I'm perfectly happy with my iPhone
Can you not wait a few months for the next iPhone? Where's that option? The Bionic is a hard sell for me, yeah it's got great specs and the blazingly fast dual-core processor, but it also comes with that heap of frozen turd known as Motoblur. The Thunderbolt is pretty cool, Sense is really nice, but I'd be worried about battery life. If you want an android phone and it doesn't have to be on Verizon, AT&T will be selling that mind-blowing Atrix 4G, or the Nexus S on T-Mobile.
Why would Verizon get a new iPhone 4 months later after they just announced the other? And as for the Bionic having Blur, root it! That'd be the first thing I'd do when I get it. The Bionic is basically Verizon's version of the Atrix but with no Lapdock compatibility. I mean support from Tegra and the fast Dual Core make me want the Bionic but I just don't know which one to choose.
Because it won't be an iPhone 4, it'll be the yearly update to the iPhone device - iPhone 4gs or iPhone 5 or whatever. It would be such a waste to jump on the bandwagon 3/4s into the device's lifecycle, but different strokes for different folks. You do understand that the iPhone 4 CDMA on Verizon can't run simultaneous Data and Calling right? Which means if you are on a call and want to use safari, google maps, or any other app, you can't. If that doesn't bother you then you should be fine. Also consider software/UI integration moreso than specs, as specs are shite without good software implementation.
hmm should I get the iPhone 4 on Verizon with a 1 year contract? and as for the iPhone 4 not having 4G, 4G is in my area but it's probably gonna be too expensive. :/
Sure both phones have great CPU's and battery life, but wouldn't you like something more accessible and trendy? I recommend this beast of a device:
