Woah! Sooooo disappointed! Finally an update and they still didn't fix the bug the makes the backround steam clouds disappear suddenly. It might be a minor thing for most, but for me it's really annoying, since there's not that much going on in this game. And I really love it as one of the very first runners and still one of the best. That's just laziness. I know that they are aware of this bug since it came with the last update...

Also, since I rooted for that little buddy before, changing characters randomly makes me lose connection a bit. I want to choose.

That new hip hop version is cool though.

 

And did they get rid of the huge crashing spaceship?

I just feel the price is too steep for a simple game like this.. I can afford it... No doubt, but I probably won't play it for more than 10 minutes before erasing it from my device.

 

There's a new update out! Sound/Music settings have been fixed (need to close the app and restart it for any changes to take effect).

Also, there are 8 (!) new modes and achievements have been added.

 

Those new modes are bananas!

 

What are they?

 

This new two player mode is awesome, what a great update.

 

There is Invasion, Defenestration, Bombardment, Purity, Fractured, Box Tripper, Panic, and Leap of Faith.

I won't spoil them by explaining the differences right now

They are all subtle variations on the existing runner format and really bring some life to a game I thought had been forgotten about!

 

Now online will be better ^^'

 

The origin of runner game is now at his best. This update is incredible !

 

Agreed... reinstalled Canabalt today and the update just added multiple angles at how to play the grandaddy of side scrolling runners.

I actually just joined to ask about the update. What are the new modes? I couldn't find a list of all the new content. I never got Canabalt before, I guess I should

 

All you need to know it's : so much fun now, more challenge than before, nice leaderboard. And it's discounted, Go buy it !

That was me. Reinstalled the game due to the update and it happened on the 5th game, on Origin.

So is there a sound issue with iphone6 or ios8 or something? All I seem to get is music...no sound effects.
