I could swear this game used to have music. Why no music? Edit: Phew! Looks like I just needed to restart my device. (4s) now the game has music! It just isn't the same without it!
I bought Canabalt when I read about the new updates planned for the game. This was this last 24 of May: Local Two Player Simultaneous/Cooperative mode Eight (!) New Hardcore Game Modes (and leaderboards) Game Center Achievements As I see the developers active in this forum to promotion Hundreds, I want to take advantage of it to ask if these updates are still in development or trashed forever. This game is still awesome! I love it and I hope to play the 8 new hardcore game modes soon!
Just got my ipod jailbroken a few days ago and i got fullforce... Now i can enjoy canabalt in full 4-inch glory!! I love canabalt!!! Dont worry i still get all my apps legit no ########## crap Edit: it seems I_nstallous is a curse-nice
There is... Wide screen support Updated GC+Twitter support 4 different runners new music track new icon various bug fixes
I can see the updated info now on the AppStore description. Wasn't there a few minutes ago when I checked, but there is no update for me to download. Guess I'll check again later... Edit: Had to delete the game then reinstall to get the updated version. Never seen an app get an update that I couldn't download as usual...
Wow, a facelift for Canabalt! It is nice to see this classic still getting some love. Is it just me or were those riser beams not there before?
Hm. I'm definitely curious. Still, part of me wished it was the multiplayer update that was being developed a while back, but never ended up surfacing. Maybe it's a sign that it'll come sometime in the future!
Still no fix for audio bug, which permanently sets the music to max. This is a game killer for me because to be successful you need to hear the audio cues that precede missile strikes. With music set to max, you can't hear squat. Edit: yes, I'm aware the audio sliders are conveniently located within System Settings. Adjusting music volume has no effect on actual in-game music volume.
Is it worth supporting a clone, when you could instead support the creation of original ideas? Guess it depends on what sort of an AppStore you want to help engender.
