I started out with using the old Sidekick phones back in the day so I could stay connected on the web and eventually moved onto the Blackberry Pearl then the Helio Ocean (which was my first 3G phone). The OS on these phones always feel clunky or limiting in some way and the iPhone was the first phone that I really liked using. Then I got the 3G because edge was way to slow for on the go browsing and moved on to the 3GS for the video recording and faster processor (The fingerprint resistant coating was a nice bonus). Now I have the iPhone 4 which I love but it's not as exciting as owning the earlier models. I tried using other smartphones but Apple is really the only company that's nailed down the user interface for me. I really wanted the Nokia N smartphone series back in the day (they even called themselves a mobile computing company) but they couldn't secure a deal with US wireless companies so you can get them at affordable prices through a contract. Now it seems like Apple (and Google) really put a dent on their smartphone business.
don't spend money on the Walkman X it is full of problems (terrible touchscreen, terrible internet browser, limited app features) - go for the A model for sure. The thing since getting my iPod touch I haven't really noticed a terrible downgrade in sound quality, and I have found that I don't think I could live without gapless playback ever again.
That's the only thing I really like about apple..iPhone and iPod touch...but macs...overpriced underpowered overhyped
No I had more money before (especially since shelling out £599 ($925) on my iPhone 4) I did study Biology to quite a high level, but that's just a coincidence. The main point was that I can carry many books as e-books on my iPhone.
I bought it outright from Apple. Here in the UK Apple offers the 16GB for £499 and the 32GB fro £599. It works out than a contract on my chosen network (O2) because when I went there to ask about getting one on contract, they told me that their cheapest deal to me as £40 ($62) a month for 18 months, plus £299 for the phone which works out at £1012 or $1560 (total rip-off). So instead I just bought the phone factory unlocked from Apple and I use an O2 PAYG sim card. Not sure if what the guy told me was 100% correct, but I know for sure that it works out cheaper than on a contract.
He's saying seriously because that's your first time hearing "Jipped" before. Too make things easier for your 13yr old brain, Jipped mean's Cheated, Conned, Screwed, etc.
I've never heard of it either. But that's probably because I've lived in England my whole life. There must a tons of words that you Americans have never heard of. Here's one of my favourite - "pikey".
Yeah, no one in the UK uses 'jipped', people would probably think you were weird if you did. Not everyone is from America. 'Chavs' would be my personal favourite . Don't know if they're worse than pikeys though.
