I had a few mp3 players before I finally upgraded to my touch - the one I got the most use of was a Samsung YP-Q1 (8gb) which is now my brothers. I used the Q1 to the tits watching movies and listening to music. However I think if I had to go back to it I'd rather die (not literally) - I mean since getting the touch I have become completely dependent on the Mail, Contacts, and Calendar apps - not to mention all the games and internet. Not to mention all the music it holds What did you use before you got your iPod/iPhone/iPad? Would you be able to live without it now?
i had a 120gig ipod the big white ones. laughs.. i thought that was the cats meow. i did not get a touch till gen 2.. so i was a late bloomer to the iphone/touch scene. chris. P.S the whole reason i even wanted to try the touch was cause of apples dang comerical i wanted to try the tilt steering, never seen that before. before my ipod i used a sony walk man.. and yes i used it and took it every where with me back in the 80s/early 90s. in the 90s i can remember some high end pda's even own a couple.. they are so barbaric compared to even a gen 1 touch.. laughs.. things sure have changed.. hell ram cost more than gold back then too.
Yes. I had an iPod Nano 3rd Gen. - I played a LOT of Klondike - I also listened to music. - I also had an xBox 360 which I played a lot, and I have a MacBook.
The most comparable devices I had were series of Palm devices, and Sony Clies (I upgraded a ridiculous amount back then), my favourite definitely being my Clie UX. It had very similar features, MP3, videos, touch screen, can't remember if it had wifi or not now, but the only thing it really lacked was the App Store =P I did prefer the hardware design though, more like a tiny little laptop, the screen could even rotate 180.
I had an iPod Shuffle... which I still do, and it remains my primary portable music device because it weighs nothing. My iPod Touch is pretty much games only, so not much has changed to be honest. I still play my consoles just as much as I did before, only now I've got something else to mess about with while I sit at my laptop of an evening. My first ever MP3 player was a Creative Zen. About the size of a tape walkman, but 40GB so that made up for it.
Yes. I wasn't addicted to something. And now I'm addicted to a ton of shit, Ping Pong being the most recent.
this is the ipod i had.. man it rocked my sony walk man and put a retirement to my tapes for ever. chris.
yeah i think so too. it also helped i was a computer nerd.. computer science degree etc.. so i had already converted my whole library to mp3 to listen to on the computer with xamp while in X or mpg123. o cam remember the days of all we had was midi... then mp3s hit and woohooo. man time sure has passed in a hurry its been over a decade + since iv been in university. laughs chris.
cell phones, pfft.. im talking tape size beeper time. LOL.. looked in my junk box and found several ipods even the one in the picture.. turn it on and still ready to rock even tho iv not touched in it 5 years impressive.. funny looking at my music mix then.. growing old is a trip. chris.
I remember when I was excited about my 2nd gen nano. I got an iPT just after the 2nd gen was introduced just in time for the app store whee
ooo that yellow reminds me of the yellow waterpoof sports model sony walk man i had. LOL, dunno how water proof it was tho..
'laughs, i hope its a chick.. or that dude is hung like a bug.. my guess is yeah i do not see a hairy belly button. chris.
I gave them up for this site. Now I can post 20 times a day and not be bothered with those A-holes who want to go fishing, or swimming, or burn axe on the street.
