My computer is old. I kept running out of virtual memory space. I couldn't take it anymore so I deleted all the .ipa files on the HD. When I sync the apps on my iPod stay however when I try to transfer purchases nothing happens. Am I good or all messed up?
You should have deleted from iTunes not the mobile applications folder itself. I would assume you still have icons on your Apps sections in iTunes? Delete those from there then try to transfer purchases afterwards.
I think nothing happens when you transfer purchases because the apps are still listed in your itunes library even though the .ipa's are gone. if you delete them from itunes they will be delted from your ipod when you sync it
