I currently have an iPod touch and want to buy the new iPad when it comes out, but I want to know if I can share game/app data between the two?

(also, on my dads iPad, YouTube is slow loading on wifi - any better on ipad2?)

There's no sharing of data unless the app stores it's data online. I wish they had a global solution for this, but right now there isn't one.

crunc is right. I think a lot of ngmoco games store their data online, but most games do not. You may be able to hack your way and copy individual files using iPhone Explorer, but I cant recommend it and I dont know how to either :p

I could help. Plug in both your devices, click on the apps tab, then the app you want to transfer, and drag the documents folder over to the corresponding app on your other device. Shared game saves between devices, but you'll have to do it for every single app.

But, I think you'll have more success by just syncing both devices, and then restoring either one with the other one's backup.
