What's most puzzling is the fact that they're made by the same developer, and they also use the exact same images--just in a different order. The ONLY difference I can see (besides price) is that the first one offers an IAP for notifications. Whether notifications simply aren't available in the second (or are included) is unclear. Anybody notice anything else? App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store. Yeah, that's what I thought at first glance. But then I took a closer look at the description of the lower priced app... "You can SAVE and reuse FULLY-CONFIGURED SEARCHES. The TRACKING SYSTEM of SAVED SEARCHES displays blue circle indicators alongside the new matches." "You can POST with PHOTOS to Craigslist and MANAGE your Craigslist account (including EDITING, REPOSTING, etc)." "See all listings on a map using the MAP BROWSER." "Browse listings by photos using the PHOTO WALL." So that brings me right back to the question... Are the (optional?) notifications the only difference between the two? I'm inclined to say YES, but if that were the case then why price one higher and then charge more on top of that for the notifications? Or, more importantly, why have two separate apps in the first place??
FFS I start a detailed thread about this topic and am dealt with nothing but hate, yet this guy posts and he actually gets useful replies. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=92552 **** this forum EDIT: There is also a third app by the same developer if you don't want to read my thread. It's called Craigslist Ultimate and is the newest of the three apps. It's version is only on 1.1.1 right now. It has everything the others mentioned and is the same exact thing except a different skin. I made a little excel chart for myself for these three craigslist apps and they are exactly the same thing as far as I can tell, minus the IAP for one of them. If you plan on buying from them, don't. They suck, I sent two e-mails and no response. I send YYH Creative an email about their craigslist app and they end up giving me a free promo code. If customer service means anything to you, then don't go with these losers who have three of the same apps on the app store. DOUBLE EDIT: I just noticed you're posting for iPad. Disregard my post if it doesn't apply to iPads.
