My 6 year old wants a car or motorcycle racing game for the iPad but everything out there is an IAP-fest...they are unplayable. Looking for something premium that he just enjoy - I don't care how much it costs. Thanks!
Horizon Chase is the one everyone loves. It's a free-to-try game, with a premium unlock, so you get the best of both worlds on that one.
You can also check out Reckless Racing 3 (top-down view) and Repulze (futuristic racer), both by Pixelbite of Space Marshals fame.
The stuff mentioned are great games, considering the age category. If you want something for yourself, you might also consider Death Rally. But it involves blasting the opposition to smithereens in addition to being a fun top down view racer. So for a 6 year old...
Just noticed Need For Speed: Most Wanted's been updated for Ios 9 (it crashed every time you finished a race before). Maybe the whole racing away from cops thing isn't perfect for an eight year old, but it's probably the best of the heavy duty racers now it's back up and running.
NFS: Most Wanted - great game Horizon Chase - For the retro racing Real Racing 2 - Not sure if it works anymore RipTide 2 GP racing - not cars, but great Traffic Rider - again not sure if this is premium, but fun
The three I've ever been hooked on are: Horizon Chase Need for Speed: Most Wanted Real Racing 2 - though that's probably too hard for young ones.
