This one had passed right under the radar to me. I'm not really a huge fan of labyrnth games, but the art style on this drew me in. At 3 bucks, I went ahead and took the plunge. I've only played a little bit, but it is really nice. At times, it's like playing within a m.c. escher drawing. There are nice obstacles and power-ups, and multiple control options. You can jump the orb by touching it, and I found the default control options work like a charm. I haven't had any of the crash problems mentioned earlier. Perhaps they were from an earlier version? I'll play more, and give more detailed impressions later.
Someone had an unsung heroes thread and I put this on there. I look at the reviews on the app store and they're not very good. I don't get it. I think it's really good. Try the lite version and if you like it, the full version is on sale.
You're right. The strange thing is I usually have no use for labrynth type games, but the art style grabbed me so much I gave it a shot. Now I play it all the time.
Because any game with camels is better than a unique looking, graphical masterpiece with (hopefully) physics to match. (I don't own the game.)
Try the free version...you'll get a good idea of the physics. There are three different control schemes, although I prefer the tilt.
Just picked this up. Very impressed. Reminds me more than a little of Edge. I like the whole vibe, the sedate music and the somber b&w Escher-esque aesthetic. I agree with the others here who've been saying this is quite the hidden treasure.
