Does anyone know how to buy the next chapters up front just opened the app but the game just starts, I wanted to buy them now and get it over with.
If you quit to the main manu you can go into chapters and buy them from there. There's a discount for buying them both instead of one at a time too.
Bought the game.. I can't see an option to buy any other chapters anywhere. Looks great, voice acting excellent too. High production values in this one
LMAO. No, no...I certainly have the good ol' regular edition. Just checked and it's 690 MBs installed. Yes, finally decided to check this out and it's not too shabby so far. Those graphics though. Yeesh. STUNNING. I'm pretty much in the same boat as NOEN was a couple of days ago and have yet to have formulated an opinion on the game, but I'm gonna put some time into it as soon as my battery's charged. Oh, and those graphics? The voiceovers are just as good.
Its a good stealth game, that is not bringing up anything new. The graphics are gorgeous. And the story seems to be nice. Im half through the game. But... And there is a big "but"! But the save system is very poor. To use control points instead of a manual saves is a very bad decision of the devs. When playing 3 characters and 2 of them reach the destination to go and you mess up with the last one, you have to redo it for all 3. Plus the long loading times on an ipad air 8.2 are making the frustration really high. This could be a top stealth game. But somehow it failed the high hopes.
Too bad...I was going to buy this and all the episodes. I won't be shelling out my shekels until a better save option is in place.
Well...actually I bought the game and so far I'm having a real blast. I'm 1 hour in, completed the first chapter in Act 1. Controls are perfect so far, really tailored for mobile (you tap on scenery and icons). The graphics is superb and the music/voices are really triple A quality....they really suck you in....I feel like I'm Bogart in Casablanca. I discovered by pure chance (no tutorial and you actually go to the main screen AFTER you play quite a bit) that the money you find around as secrets actually can be spent in game to 'level up' your men...running speed and noise levels when doing stuff....pretty cool. I'm pretty surprised there isn't much more activity here...can't wait to proceed in the story. Unfortunately no iCloud sync and I wish I could select the subtitles language (Italian translation is pretty good but I would prefer English subtitles with English voices). Back playing....will report later.
It's great until it crashes and you have to redo and restart. Sometimes it won't start even. It freezes when you pause it most of the time, so only good if you play a long run. Very annoyed at this. I have an iPad Air, those are not that old. So I assume it's bugs and performance issues.
I'm playing on a iPad Air too...weird...knock on wood but so far I haven't had a problem nor a crash. Actually so far it's been a really smooth experience.
I've also been experiencing crashes, although rarely. And my device does heat up while playing the game, but that problem is lessened by my otter box. Besides those issues, Take Down works very poorly. Sneaking up behind a guard and trying to take him down almost never works, as they react instantly and shoot you. You're much better off with avoidance. Also, it wouldn't hurt for a group move option, and a white outline around characters. It can be tough to see characters in dark areas.
