Do you think they will charge for the new os update? I remember the last major OS update when it came out my room mate bought it for like $5.00, as he has a 1st gen ipod touch (eventually was free but still).

Yes, iPod touch devices will have a charge because of the reason stated above. I would upgrade for 5 with all these new features they have added. Small bug fixes and such they will not charge.

Actually not necessarily the case. The reason they charge for iPod Touch and not iPhone has traditionally been due to accounting rules, not size or type of update. Fairly recently these rules have changed, paving the way for free updates for all devices that can support the new OS. See this from Ars Technica.

I don't have the original Zombies but the new map sounds pretty interesting. My only question is the game even worth while playing offline when there isn't a wifi connection aroun?. Plus how is the online play, are there a lot of people online or is just everyone being an idiot online and making the game no fun?

I cant believe you dont have it lol, it would be a great 9.99 spent. Offline or online they're both great to play in and online it's usually 3 ppl unless you join a private match it'll be 4.
