I have the console version for my 360, but I still bought this! I can't bring my 360 to the office right?! It just don't fit in my pocket!
Well you can't carry a Xbox 360/PS3/PS2/WII and a TV and play COD: WAW on the bus, at School, at work... and in the TOILET! (Playing this game in the Toilet = Epic Win) Obviousbly we're Confusing 2 Different Platforms which are Portable Consoles and Desktop Consoles. It's like Comparing CoD 4: MW2 with iPhone's Tetris, Epic Fail. Yes, there's the Nintendo DS version, but the Graphics and Gameplay suck.
The ds gameplay is awsome mutch betther then the shitty controls they have made for the iphone version
The ds version looks like crap, you play it once and your done , even my kid brother thinks so! Learn the accelerometer control it's awesome and just because you suck at iPhone controls doesn't mean it is shitty!
Dual stick mode on the iPhone is easier to control than the psp version, let alone the crap they released for the ds. The ds has some great games, but it is complete crap for fps games, in terms of graphics and controls. The iPhone controls are great. I've complained about the controls on many iPhone games before, but I've had zero problems with this one. Dual stick+ high sensitivity is very easy to use.
The game isnt bad at all, I'm surprised how smooth everything is. The controls are okay, 3 options I prefer the touch screen controls with high sensitivity over the duel stick option. Compared to the console version the zombies are slightly easier to kill requiring less hits especially with the knife. The iphone version does not suck.
I saw half a video of CoD WAW NDS Gameplay in YT, and it was crappy as Hell... Can't compare that b*sh!t with the iPhone Version. *DLing New Version of COD *
Hell no, controls on iPhone are not good because it has no shoulder buttons, ds has so the controls are better. Metroid for example is an excellent example of a DS game with great controls.
The only way to get analogue controls for the ds is to use the central touch screen. Which means you have one awkwardly placed analogue control and a d-pad. Useless. Having a shoulder button is nice, but moving around is much easier with two dual sticks. Firing is simple, so it doesn't make much difference that the ds uses the shoulder button to fire.
Unless your hands are permanently deformed then the controls for this game on the iPhone are fine. They work much better than FPS games control on the DS or PSP, that's for sure.
