I think the best strategy I've found is to stay on the lower level as long as possible. After 4 or 5 rounds, I open the door and get the double-barreled shotgun. I can usually last until round 8 or 9 alone. Team mates usually screw it up, though.... I hate it when I turn around and a random door has been opened, and 15 or 20 zombies are coming towards me. Why are so many people so bad at this? XD
Anyone wanna play? I'm a skill cod5 player, I only open the door to the room with the magic box, nothing more.
nice - real nice.. I must say - this is pretty.un.believable... Why no pre-game release hype? How come no-one knew this was coming? Is so close to the console game its amazing and yet they just drop it into the app store..
I think that's something that the major players can get away with -- and, in fact, may even work better in the end, as the game releases without the usual inflated expectations that come from all the pre-release media. In any event, it's now the top grossing app in the store, so it must have worked.
#3 top grossing in the UK but that is still very good, only The Settlers and a CoPilot navigation app above it.
I was thinking that maybe they wanted to avoid rejection by including the word Nazi in the title. Sounds stupid, but then again, apps have been rejected for reasons as ridiculous before. I really don't mind though, it's still the same. Rather have it just be Zombies and not have it get rejected.
My tactic entirely. Level 9 is where I get to before my thumbs start sticking to the screen and I can't move so well and I get overwhelmed. Not had the satisfaction online as, likewise I find someone I'm playing with has to open all the doors (when I actually manage to get online, damn BT HomeHubs)
Connection issue with BT HomeHub resolved While this is strictly speaking only a temporary fix, I felt it worthwhile bringing to the attention of all who may have BT HomeHubs and as such have been unable to play online (and I've seen quite a few complaining here). Not sure if it deserves a different thread or what, as it will probably get lost in this thread very quickly. I've sent a good while fiddling around with various settings and have finally managed to get connected. However, this is only a temp fix as it places your iPhone/Touch in the DMZ, and ideally I'd like to find the proper way to do. I'll carry on working on that. For the moment though, DMZ works. Details for those not too familiar with the BT HH. You need to go to Advanced Settings (if not sure how to get there, navigate to 192.168.1.254 (this is the default IP address for home hubs), then Settings and finally Advanced, and you'll need your password), then Application Sharing and finally DMZ. You'll then need to click on the radio button 'Yes' to assign IP address to device, select your iPhone/Touch from the drop down list, click Apply and then you're good to go. Disconnect your iPhone/Touch from the network, if not already done so and then reconnect. You will now be able to play online. Go kill some zombies!
