How playable is this with the sound off? Do you need audio cues to let you know when a zombie's near, or are there any other indicators?
i usually dont play it with sound, but sounds does help but it isnt needed because theres a radar type thing that lets you know if zombies are near you and it also has an indicator to tell you when a teammate is down and needs reviving
You don't need sound, there is an onscreen warning, but if you see that it's probably getting a close call. You just need to keep looking around. But on silent you'd lose the ambience.

Just hit quickmatch and found a game pretty quickly with two others and got to wave six....very impressed with how smooth it was! This really is an awesome game. I actually want them to push out more COD minigames like this now. Definitely worth the price i think. Just hope they do a sale so more people get online. Arguably the most impressive game on the appstore IMO though in terms of being a propper console experience.
Take Eliminate out and you got a deal! I haven't played Eliminate in about a week! Doom and Nazi Zombies rock! I figured out why they called it zombies! In the map Shi No Numa the map after Verruckt and Before Der Reise, There is Japanese Zombies!
