Posting this here too, I'm kind of in a hurry with the question.

After rethinking, I'm not sure if I should get CoD: Zombies, I'm not really a fan of FPS games. It it that good, or it's just another game for people who like RPGs, puzzlers, strategy games and pretty much anything more that this genre?

 

It's just that good, although I'm a little biased just because FPS's are my favorite types of games. But I would seriously buy it, because this is such an incredible deal, I bought all the maps for full price (well except der reise of course), and I don't regret it at all. There's actually a fair amount of strategy and planning involved especially if your playing single player. Multiplayer is amazing especially if you can do a planned game where everyone is using some kind of chat like the xat codzombies chat. So conclusion GET IT

 

It's not a typical fps, I love it and I'm also a rpg fan. I recommend you give it a try, for 5$ you get a crazy amount of fun

aw sweet. i gotta remember to redownload this map for some reason my wifi isnt working. i gotta learn my way around all the maps anyway now lol.

black ops isnt even out theyre not gonna include maps from a game thats not out. i was on youtube once looking at vids and there are like custom maps for pc and some of em are awesome like ones in a church thats really cool, where you battle in a graveyard then buy your way into a church, and then theres a basement too.

 

Thanks for the opinions, I'll probably get it. Just one more thing: how easy is it to find people on multiplayer?

 

On quick game it may take a while depending what map you wanna play, but I only play arranged multiplayer games, just get on that chat and there's almost always someone on, and you can arrange strategies etc. Quick games often become a disappointment because people tend to quit when it gets tough

 

Many people quit BEFORE it gets tough. Anyone else have slow game loading?

 

I get on wifi and it's says my connection doesn't work with multiplayer...what's going on?

 

Ohhh I remember this..Its an old issue that involves some routers not being compatible or something, if you look through the earlier pages in the thread you might find something.

 

I'm getting that with my new Wireless Router. MAAAAAN!!!!! =__=

 

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm seeing the same thing, and I remember reading early on about route issues. Guess I'll have to take a look for that info, too.

 

Never realized how fun this game is. The console games were not great but on the idevice it is pretty fun.

Quick game online is slow.

 

If you have problems, with not being able to play online, go into router settings and enable uPnP.

U still up for a game on der rise? and people with router problems simply enable dmz to your iphone/ipods ip adress on ur router settings
