It just occurred to me that there may be a bug that doesn't let a game have 4 people. When twalkabout tried to join my game, his username came on for a second and went away, which is exactly what happens when I play matches with random people. The fourth person always loses connection.

EDIT: In the process of typing this message a fourth person joined my game and stayed successfully. Maybe its a glitch that doesn't occur all the time?

 

the hosting system definitely does not work as well as eliminate. maybe it's some kind of firewall setting on my router or something, although i have been able to join a game with four people (a random game), but someone usually drops out pretty quick. i'll still try to host for a few minutes in case anybody wants to try:
