You know, Treyarch/IGN/etc could really save themselves all this hassle if they didn't announce/mention release dates before they were set in stone. For me, I don't care. I'm perfectly happy with Verruckt and whatever else until Shi No Numa crawls out of the swamps. I'll buy it when it comes out, but I'm not stressing about exactly when it gets released. Seriously though, if IGN doesn't know exactly when it's going to be released, don't give a date, just say "coming soon". Of course people would still be scraping around to find out exactly when, but I think there would be a lot less frustration/anger about it.

they always say it comes out tonight. it never does. maybe june 12, maybe not. remember verduuct? it took almost 2 months after everyone said it would come out for it to come out. it comes out when it comes out. sorry.

Yeah, exactly. And I haven't seen anything definitive posted by JD. At least not on his twitter anyway. If they provide a link to where he actually made that statement... maybe. If not, I wouldn't start getting your hopes up for June 2nd.
