If it's true you don't die from your betties, then you have the best tool ever now...got a mob of zombies, set one down at your feet, now you got a mob of crawlers...woot... I had this one dude last night, he was placing betties every round and getting killed by them every round, that was fun to revive...lol... I would've just been happy with a big flashing "here's a bettie" sign over it or something, but this is cool too. And YAY on the super zombie! It was SOOOO ANNOYING when the host left and a jailbreaker got stuck with the host duties! I think that was me, OrgnlDave. I mean the guy I was playing with had a raygun and showed competence up until it started happening... It's OK, usually it's fine when ppl die a lot, at least up to level 30. Then it gets tough when there's only two of us.
update Ok - so just updated and saw that a load of multiplayer bug fixes went in, but judging from this thread people are still having issues. What's the general feeling on this one? Did you guys try and re-install the app to see if you could play then? Lots of people on the UK side of the app store are claiming that it now works for them. Pleased they fixed the betties too. Anyone hear anything about what the next map is going to be? Am worried that if they try for Shi that they aren't going to do it justice... Game anyone?

I re-installed it and deleted it several times. Online play does not work for me still but the lite version does. I think that ubisoft dedicated some servers for the lite version but for the main game they use a different system. That is the only explenation that I have since all other online games like MC2, Nova, BIA2 work fine online. The update mainly made it easier to dowload extra maps. If only they would dedicate some servers for this game.
There are no servers The reason that people an play NOVA or ELIMINATE but might have trouble with COD:ZOMBIES is that it doesn't have any servers. Its peer to peer - means that everyone playing needs to be able to talk to eveyone else, rather than everyone talking to a server. Means that the lag is going to be much lower, but if you have a restricted NAT then you are shit out of luck. There is no need for a host if it had a server - the server would be the host. Also guess its why people drop out often - if you have a flaky internet connection then it might be you or it might be them. Ok made most of that up based on playing with my friends but having read a load of posts on this, I reckon I am correct. Oh and did you see I AM AN ACHIEVEMENT. Can sign autographs too if you like.
as to why the lite works but the full game doesn't... that is God punishing you for something you did in a past life. For many Steve Jobs is god so I guess not having one of the best apps on the app store work for you is some kind of Divine Retribution.
I agree with that but what that means is that for the lite version of the game they dedicated some servers since I can play it without having the your connection is not supported error. I don't think that it's fair then for Ubisoft to dedicate servers for a lite version but not the main. This game must have made them a shed load of money so hopefully they could dedicate some servers like in their lite version. The only question I want answering from ubisoft if why dedicate servers for the lite version?
hmm ok. i think we have a lil' bit of the ol' Miss Communication here little buddy. <hunkers down to look into sad kids eyes> 1 - you probably aren't old enough to play this game but - 2 - THERE ARE NO SERVERS..... so they cannot have more on the lite than full 3 - Its not made by Ubisoft, its made by Activision. I take exception to your tone. If calling a 25 year old man a kids makes you feel big then I feel sorry for you. Let me explain something to you. Please read carefully. I said I agreed that they use peer to peer in the main game. Hence the reason I have an error saying that I have the wrong internet connection. But here is my problem. I run the lite version of the game and I can play online which is the reason why I think that ubisoft/Activision dedicated some servers for the lite version otherwise how can I play the lite game online but not the full? That is what I want to be clarified. How come the lite version works for me, without any errors and the main game tells me that my internet connection is not supported (but the lite version works!!!). My deduction is then that they did dedicate some servers for the lite version hence why it works for me like nova, mc2 and bia2. Now I have refrained from swearing at you or patronising you oneshotrod because I feel above the level at which you brought yourself with that last post. I was just trying to find a legitimate answer as to why one free version of a game online function works but the full game does not. I was dissapointed with your reply especially since your prior post was informative to me.
Fair enough - please accept my apologise for treating you as an under age window licker. Was on a bit of a high after deciding that the new achievement must be named after me... it came out a bit - when i should really have been more - It must be incredibly annoying to be able to play the lite and not the full... have you tried on any other wi-fi networks? Oh just to reiterate the server business though - there aren't more lite servers than full servers as there are no servers (other than maybe somekind of matchmaking stuff) as is all peer to peer. I guess there is just a bug that means some people are on the edge of not working and the lite is ok but the full isn't. Send their support an email or whatever - they might find it helpful?
No worries I have tried the game on other networks and it does work on some. I was just really puzzled to find out that the lite version worked but the main game did not. I guess I would not be annoyed had I not found out that I could play the lite version. I will write them an email just to let them now. It might be an isolated incident or there could be more people in the same situation. The thing is that not many people have the lite and full version to compare. Here is to hoping that one day this game will use dedicated servers because the game is very good.
screw dedicated servers, here's a better idea: set yourself to host "at least 3 players," etc. ppl can then search for games that are waiting for, say, 4 players, or at least 3... no more of this 10 seconds after the first person joins BS!
K, so I was playing, and With my unbeatable strategy I got to wave 25. At this point my Ray gun ran out of ammo :O so I get to the end of the wave with 30,000 points, and I need to toy-box. So I leave 1 zombie without legs crawling around so that the wave wouldn't end. I get to the toybox and use it about ten times before THE FRICKIN TEDDY BEAR APPEARS?! I didn't know that Verrückt even had the Teddy. So now I'm pissed. I find the new relocated toybox an use about ten more times AND I GET THE DAMN BEAR AGAIN. Ugh. I go to the relocated toy-boxand use with the rest of my points, and I don't even get the Ray gun. But I learned that there are Teddies in Verrückt. And it was kinda cool to hear the little girl laughing and the voice that goes "YOUR DEAD NOW" which just showed the beautifuly transfered noise effects. So, anyone else gotten the Teddy?
