am sitting with 7 mates, all trying to download the map... is a funny picture - I have it, and am going wow, omg, hahahaha, and they are like HURRY THE F&*K UP......... there must be a bucketload of people trying to get the map if it is degrading servers...
The new map is DAMN DAMN fine. Large. Wide-open. That's good and bad though, depending how you look at it. LOTS more zombies come at you now. And they're a lot crazier a lot quicker. I also love the new graphics settings. 3GS and Touch3G users are in for a treat. The headshots are phuckin' ridiculous now. 5 bucks well spent. PS. I ove that Treyarch also updated the previous map to the quality of the newer one. The new voices add so much more to the game for me. Outstanding.
yeh - thats what we were talking about here. They bothered to update the original app with more stuff as well. So even less reason to moan about the original 10 bucks...
played a couple solo games already and haven't gotten past level 9 yet. i love the increased difficulty, cuz nacht got boring after a while.
Every time I get the message I immediately go back and hit "New Maps" again... I've done this AT LEAST 10 times now, if not 15. This is becoming ridiculous, and from what I can tell, it's an overload thing... I hate this.

did you look at the new upnp stuff? One of my matesd has just used it to open up a port on his router.
I think my router has UPnP automatically on. I'll give it another look, but I doubt it. It's worth a shot though. EDIT: Yup, it's on. Idk what to do from there.
look in the help - i think that it mentions a port that you can manually use (i'd look but someone has just nicked my iphone to have a play whislt they wait for the download on theirs...)
What door do you open to get to the courtyard. In the itunes screenshot one is of a player near the fountain.
Oh I thought you had to do it through the router... i didn't know there was a way to edit in the options menu. I'll give that a look. EDIT: Realized I was being an idiot. I'll read the help section really fast. Weird... I have UPnP on and it's not auto-configuring the ports as far as I can tell. I'll see if I can forward them.
no - you do have to do it in the router settings , but I think they added more help text on this. Will have a look in a sec WHEN I GET MY PHONE BACK
Go into cydia and under packages make sure u don't have a package called app.syn'c installed and if u do delete it then if it still doesn't work you'll have to redownload the game
is there anyone here who played the console version that can give some general strategies for solo, two player, three player, etc? i'm still having a bit of trouble in solo, getting overwhelmed around level 9. i've been going for the trench gun but there are just so many zombies.
yeah i restarted my ipod, clicked new maps repeatedly, and on the third time it went through. i wouldn't doubt that this is due to countless amounts of people trying to grab the map at once. just keep at it. but if you're having troubles just trying to connect to multiplayer, it may or may not be an issue involving that as well...
