DO NOT turn off security, ever. That's pretty lazy of the devs if the game doesn't work with certain security setups. Phone it in ATVI, Bobby needs cash $$$$$$.
Please, please, let's not let this turn into the Eliminate thread. This game is good, really good, but first of all we don't need to convince each other to keep buying energy packs, and second of all the multiplayer is co-op so we don't have to deal with ridiculously unfair matching. Eliminate was OK, that's all. I already like this more. I also find it funny that some people are complaining about the 10 bucks when I guarantee they've spent far more on energy packs.

+1. If you think what it takes to maintain a decent (read "lag free") server infrastructure, 9.99 is very reasonable. If COD:Zombies is successful, could Left4Dead iPhone be that far behind?
Interesting. I've tried without hiding the ssid and that had no affect either. Strange, wonder what the problem is then, as it definitely won't let me play through my normal connection but though an 'open' network (FON) it works fine. Trouble is I only have 250 mins of FON access a month and I blew 26 mins in my first game.
Woke up to find that this it out Don't know if I want to buy this since I was saving up for AC2 with $15.33 left on the account. I think I will wait and see how well this game sells and how much it will be for add-on maps.
My first post, I wish it was for something else but I can't help myself (I'll scorn myself later) - Britain and UK can be used interchangeably, they are not synonyms, but to say they are completely different and tell people to look it up - that's just plan cheeky, dumb and demands correction. The word Britain can refer to things other than the UK, but usually it is referring to exactly that. It works like this; referring to the UK you are referring to the sovereign state called Britain, but referring to Britain you could be referencing the UK (a sovereign state); Great Britain (same thing but relating to the land mass itself); Britain, Virginia, an unincorporated village in Loudoun County, Virginia, USA or Britain (name), the place name Britain and its etymology. This would produce an egg shape if drawn as a simple ven diagram with the UK as the yoke. I looked it up! Sorry to be an ass, but in fairness you did beat me to it - and my ass is right.
superb! this is everything that eliminate wasnt and everything seems to work so well. if i have 1 minor complaint its the long loading times on the 3G, but meh online play worked fine here, im sorry to the 2 guys who scored double the amount of kills than me but it was ma 1st game like many others i much prefer co-op to death matches anyday. this is well worth the coin from the 20 mins ive had so far. this is how DLC should also work with real content for your hard earned cash.
One possibility: are you on a Mac? I ran into a similar problem with my PSP a while back, and the only way to solve it was to create a PC compatible password on my (Airport) router. Macs can work with shorter passwords, but PC's require 8 or 10 characters (I forget which).
Yes I am but am using a 10 digit key. This is driving me nuts. I'm not about to disable security. Have mailed support but it's just the generic COD one, so don't hold out any hope of resolution.
Between this and the PG article you posted, i'm sold. I actually never played the Nazi-Zombies mode in WAW, probably because I don't have the game , but i'm a huge FPS/COD fan and this looks way too good to pass up. $10 is a bargain for a quality game, and that's exactly what this appears to be.
