Couldn't see any way of customising controls. I've played a while its ok. The cut scenes and cinematic effects are good but so far haven't come across any challenging AI. Been too easy.
You can customize controls, although it seems you have to tap Settings during a mission to get the option to reposition the fire button etc.
Poor controls. Aiming while ADS without having to hold moving joystick is impossible... The radius of the moving joystick is too big. All the buttons except fire are on the moving side which is very uncomfortable. They're just awful to some it up. The missions are pretty hard when you go on drone mode and its super easy to die during drone mode, which by the way is the third person mode. So yeah, you'll need to buy a lot of revives which will cost you coins. At the moment I have no problem with them, but I can see myself hitting the wall at any moment now, especially if I decide to spend some money on armory. The missions are pretty good, storyline is good considering the length of the missions and yeah, the missions are pretty addictive. Just wish they were longer, unless you won't die you'll complete one mission in about 5 minutes. Also the AI is really good which is a surprise. Both the enemy and teammate. I think this has some potential, but they really need to work on the controls and perhaps prices of the store and earnings per mission. Oh and please add co-op. 3/5, has some major issues, but is fun when the issues don't show, but unfortunately those moments are rare. This was wrote after about 7 missions. Edit: By the way, the game is much more challenging when you go drone mode. It feels like you get hit more and more deadlier. I don't recall dying in first person mode more than once or twice.
So far, most of the feedback seems to be pretty positive. Now "Call Of Duty" & from what I understand, "Battlefield", too, will make it's way to iPad. Good to see "Modern Combat" getting some AAA competition.
I'm not really into these new-ish games but thought I'd give this a go for a fiver. Positively astounding. I'm on an iPod 5 with this and the controls and the game itself are brilliant. I have never played a Call of Duty game before though so that may be why I'm so astounded.
no way in hell is this competition. it has no multiplayer and the controls are awful. but the name itself will attract fools like me to waste their money on it :/
it may be a bold question, but anyone can tell me who the enemy is ? is this some sort of arabic country/terrorists, nuclear threat and so on ? the game looks really good and the tactical dimension is something I'd really like to get my hands on... but if it polliticaly oriented, its a game breaker for me
