Also like I said before in they add multiplayer they could have set maps just for that

One players is the ground dude and the other controls the sky view

The sky player can lay down route which the ground player can see and follow, top dude can mark out enemies ahead of time the ground player and mark which ones can be sneak attacked or full out assault :)

    OR
The sky player could send out different types of enemies, snipers, tanks, etc.
Then the ground player would have a certain score he/she would have to get to win that match. If the sky player kills all the ground players then the sky player wins.

We all like it, its that the controls feel weird. Also wish there was Multiplayer in it at release. So we are butt hurt. :p

  5. Yeah, I don't quite get it either. I'm having alot of fun so far, and awesome ipad retina graphics. Never had so much fun stealthing and knifing. I usually don't like that stuff, but like it here so far.

    Me too.
Between this and Asphalt 8, another common game for you and me, I'm having the best fun and challenge with games that I actually haven't had in a long time.
Its been a very good couple of weeks for iOS and games.

@Justin. I would say the likelihood is low that the iTouch 4 will be supported. Its very hardware dependant.

Fairly big levels with lots of unique voice chatter dependent on the situation, as well as a lot of AI calculations. Not to mention the meshes and textures the game has to cache on top of all that. It's heavy on RAM. The iPhone 4S has twice as much as the iPod Touch 4, and still doesn't pull the game off perfectly.

If you're talking about usable ram, it's a lot more than twice (factoring in OS and related overheads).

Sometimes I don't get any XP for killing an enemy in FPS mode. Is this a bug or do you have to make headshots for XP (I play in Veteran Mode)?

    What's the best survival perks?

It's a tough choice between ammo, health, and aiming stabile for snipers. I play with the ballista, I'm best with it.

TBH this game is a much more thrilling without using the snap shots. Iron lungs and sniper rifle, and with patience could take down enemies easily.

Take cover though. Use someone with an assault rifle to move forwards, and have at least one sniper in your team.

The sniper rifle in survival mode, well... Quick scope skillz baby!

I use a quick scope one and faster reload.
And then if its a sniper, iron lungs. Light machine gun, use the perk that has no weight penalty for heavy guns and if its the rifle, I use the one for enemies drop more ammo.
    Can't remember all their names.

And I had a feeling you'd enjoy this one:) I was wondering where you were.
Add me as well for activate. There's a thread in the add me section with usernames. Very handy for the challenges.

  14. Yeah of course, can't recall if I ever played it, but I have never been a hardcore FPS fan even in my xbox and pc days. Though I liked to play some FPS games from time to time.

On pc, I loved starcraft and driving games. I did like Half Life though.

On xbox, played a ton of games, loved some games like panzor dragon, soul calibur, dead or alive beach volleyball, racing games, etc. Halo was my favorite fps game then.

Now on ios, really liking Nova, Modern Combat, and this game.

I think this game rocks. It is cool that you can switch modes, so it doesn't get repetitive like other cool games like Dead Trigger, and the mix of stealth, blast em fps, strategy, and two man control is pretty awesome.

    Very highly recommended!

I have to disagree with this sentiment. On iOS, on any touchscreen device, there are certain standards everyone expects in action games. Any game worth its salt simply has to offer control customization. Lolavi really said it best: the MC games have, bar none, the best control scheme because they're YOUR controls. One size simply does not fit all, and are so many different hand positions, ways people hold their device, play styles, levels of aptitude, etc that it's impossible and arrogant for a developer to say they know best. Control customization is something every action game must have, especially if it tries something new.

There's simply no reason not to include alternate or customizable controls other than lack of time or laziness.

Not to mention that your hand will fit differently depending on what iDevice you have.

Haha it's a TPS, and is arguably the best stealth series in recent years (Thief is coming back)

Well what level of customisation is required exactly?
The fire button can be moved anywhere.
The movement stick is floating. How more difficult is it to have you're movement stick anywhere on the left side?Anywhere? And standard option in any Gameloft.
The view option is the standard right hand side of screen. Again standard on any Gameloft.
The scope is on the left and gives one the ability to use two fingers to quick scope which is infinitely better than having the scope button beside the fire button which is too slow.

Where exactly do you want all those buttons to go? Or should every developer just copy and rip the controls from Gameloft?

And I said (and always have) in the post that the MC series is still the best but this doesn't change the fact that the controls in this are very good.
They are actually as close to gold standard as one would expect and similar to just about every shooter control method an FPS on iOS has, particularly to Madfinger's which are still a gold standard as well.

As to say its laziness or arrogance, well, that statement is nothing but arrogant and something I'd expect from the self entitled gaming "expert". Coming from you, its nothing but disappointing and means this conversation is not even worthwhile.
If its arrogant of a developer (with years of experience on the team members), what is it when a gamer with arguably substantially less experience playing, never mind developing, says they know best?

But I will say, I've played every shooter on iOS virtually and have zero problems with the controls on this. It may not have Gameloft's level of customisation but Gameloft is making iOS shooters with a very long time. This is this studios first effort and they still nailed it. If you can't use them, well then its time one went back to their controller and consoles, because it sounds more like a statement a Pocketgamer reviewer would make. And has actually. And we know how high their standards are lately.

@sbirksy. I'm on it. I keep missing one guy, once I get him, we'll be even again.
