While I really enjoy World at War and Nazi Zombies still, MW2 is going to be a really nice change for me. I'm getting a bit tired of playing the same missions in COD4 over and over again just to play a really good modern war game. The fact that the disc won't play the best missions in the game due to a huge scratch doesn't help things but still, I'm dying for MW2. Every time I see the commercial for it it drives me crazy because I know its not even 2 days left.
Ive had mine since friday (legit) and Just finished story mode today. Be sure you remember everything from COD 4 because its a continuation of the story. It is really amazing, although short. Beat it in 5 hours. It does set it up perfectly for a third one though. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BUY THIS GAME!
Can't wait to get this This and Mass Effect 2 are day one purchases for me. Kinda want Left for Dead 2, but I didn't like the first one thatttt much. It was good, but I'll probably just wait for a price drop.
Buy it, borrow it from a friend (you HAVE to know someone who has it), google the storyline, youtube a playthrough. If you want I can even PM you an abbreviated story since I beat the game a while ago. I gotta do another re-run to refresh my memory but there's no way I'm getting time before MW2 comes out due to the sheer amount of work I have due Tuesday. Tuesday's gonna pwn, I finally get to relax from all my work and play the greatest game of the year so far it seems.
5 hours for this kinda of game is very short, but the Call of Duty games have very good replay value. I always find myself going back to missions in COD4 and World at War so i can beat it on veteran, or even hardened for most missions. If a game is good enough, you'll find yourself playing the game several times through, like I did with MGS2 (which wasn't super long) and I predict Modern Warfare 2. I'm not going to play world at war as much either, as I will be playing mw2's multiplayer but I will still play it more than I did modern warfare after waw came out because of nazi zombies.
Um. Have you even given Trophies a thought? If you were to try to earn a platinum trophy in this game it'd take you 15 hours or more.

I liked NSMB but COD4 was such a better game. They just don't even compare in my book. I personally see MW2 outselling NSMBWii.
Gaaawwwddd one more freaking day... Pre-ordered mine at Target for $1 with the $5 giftcard. Figure I can spend the 5 bucks on tissue to wipe up the mess once I start playing this That new trailer is unbelievable!
No one buys MW2 for single player, and multiplayer is pretty much infinite hours depending on how much of a life you have.
Agree, multiplayer is where the replayability comes in. Besides, I don't want a storyline much greater than 5 hours anyways. Anything over that amount and I rarely end up finishing a game because I've gone on to play multiplayer by then anyways.
