They claim that as long as you pre-order you are guaranteed a copy on the release date. Those who dont may have to take their chances or drive from store to store.

No department stores that dont do pre-orders should have it available within 1-2 days of release or maube longer depending on how many copies they get.

Well you are in Britain. Cant say I know how they operate the game releases over there, Im in US so my info to foreign countries probably doesnt apply.
lol, I almost won a copy, but I got sniped with literally 5 seconds left on the clock. After getting Fallout 3 and Batman, I decided yeah, I'm gonna wait for CoD 5 and just revel in the full priced epic-ness.
I've already pre-ordered and paid in full, I was thinking about doing the midnight release, but I don't turn 17 until next month, and I doubt my dad wants to go out at 12 to pick up a game
This game does not disappoint!!! All I can say is WOW!!!!!! I'm picking up a ps3 version for online play though
The Prestige Edition of the game started shipping last Tuesday over here in the UK. It's so close I can smell the plastic wrapping. Edit: Holy crap, outer space? "The Rock" style part looks awesome too... I think I'll go watch the movie.
