I thought it was WW2? I'm pretty sure I know how that ends, I honestly didn't even notice a story line. Or hear it either. The guy spoke so ****ing softly I had blast my TV and then when the fighting started I had my ears blown off.

MW2 story line would've been cool if they actually made a motive behind sheperd's betrayal. Right now it's just like "I lost 40,000 men, so I'ma kill you for the fun of it"

That's pretty much what I was getting at, it's just random war happenings, not exactly Oscar-winning material.

MW2's wasn't too convincing but it's typical movie stuff, reminded me of The Rock.

I won't be getting it. I think I am done with CoD games. MW1 = Awesome. WaW = Awesome (Especially Nazi Zombies). MW2 = .... Okay. It was awesome for like 2 weeks then it reminded me how much people do not play together. Then I got into BFBC2. Enough said.

The Stories for MW1,2 and WaW were fine though. No award winning material but it got the job done.

Yes BFBC2 was amazing till EA started to overrun it. I lag everytime I play online now, actually hell, why do I still even play it? I've unlocked everything...

Im going to have to agree with you on this unfortunately. Every damn game I get into blows ass with lag as of late. I just had a kid so it has been a while since I have played fulltime, but when I do get on it does seem like every game I get into is wrecked by lag. Disappointing....

I actually love Gears 2's campaign. One of the best campaigns in a shooter, as far as I've played. I didn't play online, but playing multiplayer over my friends' houses was a ton of fun.

A new CoD a year after MW2 comes out. Bit of a rip-off if you ask me.

Technically, it's been in production for 2 years. Seeing as Infinity Ward and Treyarch switch every year, Treyarch has had since the release of World at War to start working on this.

Unless, of course, you're talking about having to buy a new Call of Duty every year. In that case, I really don't mind. As long as they keep making them as good as they've been, I'll continue to buy them on day 1.

So Ive been thinking about this (a full COD on the iPhone) and I honestly think it will never happen. First where would you put all the buttons? Second, think of the massive size of the game file. Third, it would probaly only run on the newest iPhone and iPod touch. There is just no way. But I could see this game be sort of like an arcade game. I could see parts of the game being imported. Like a special ops mode or something but not a full game.

I don't feel to great about getting another CoD game having gotten the last one less than a year before. It just feels like they're throwing out the name as often as possible to net in the most cash they can. I'd rather one developer that knows that ins and outs of the franchise to release a consistent and quality product instead of two dishing them out before one can recognize the flaws in the other.

um duh....what do you think sequels are all about? what do the gaming companies make the games for...money....they could give a shit about when to release the next sequel...they just want the cash from the next installment in a popular series...

Wasn't too interested at first, but it actually looks OK. I know it's a money-grabbing greedy attempt, but we'll see at the release of the demo. Only motivation would be new, diverse weapons and the ability to play as Treyarch's take on the SOG, plus Class-Creator 2.0 and Gameplay that's actually different from the last 3 installments. And maybe, a CAR-15 :p

More interested in the Reboot of Medal of Honor to be honest. Hope it has mah precious M4A1 SOPMOD.

Really, the Gameplay is Good and the Story is interesting, the problem is that they usually don't fix all the flaws of the previous in time and that both Story and Gameplay wise, they don't change much. Doesn't stop them from being Good Games, it just makes them stand out more as a Cash-Grab and Rushed Games.
