Sick! Now we only have to wait 7 more months for it to come out... This is going to be a long wait...
I'm getting both. Gears 3 is going to be INSANE. And this game had better have some sort of terrorist zombies mode.
From the article, it sounded a bit like it'd be a modern-day special forces unit, rather than the actual Vietnam War. Either way, it's going to be awesome, but I'd prefer the actual Vietnam War, since I've only heard of one game from that war (Shellshock), and it was pretty mediocre from what I hear. Plus, the sequel is a zombie game. I'm not complaining either way though.
I've never understood why people hate Treyarch, both them and IW are capable of making great games, the first modern warfare became my favorite game, then world at war did, now modern warfare 2, and I'm sure this will be my favorite game as well. In other words, both studios make GREAT games.
It kinda looks good but (please dont flame me hard core cod fans) I never got into the game yes there good but I really don't care for them
Agreed. They made, in my opinion, the best World War II FPS besides maybe the Call of Duty 2 games. Plus, without them, we wouldn't have Nazi Zombies, one of the greatest unlockables ever. I just watched the trailer, and this game is going to be SICK. Time to pre-order another Call of Duty game.
Because they're not as good. The campaign for World at War was pitiful as was the multiplayer, the one redeeming feature was the zombie mode which unfortunately wasn't fleshed out as much as it should have been.
I actually enjoyed the campaign a lot in that game. The counter-sniping mission (I forget the name) is still one of the best levels in an FPS I've played. The multiplayer seemed like it would be good, but since I got live after MW2 was long out, barely anyone played, so I only got in one or two games. It's not AS bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sure, it wasn't Call of Duty 4, but it was a great game in its own right.
I don't think this one is completely in the Vietnam War. It sounds, from the description, more like a special forces unit fighting all over the world, and one place happens to be Vietnam. If so, there has to be some sort of terrorist zombies mode.
Sounds pretty similar to MW2. Fight baddies all over the world. Why should I get this if they're re-skinning old games and adding a few luke-warm features?
