Yup pricing is a major issue. No developer can expect a descent return on a premium game at $.99. In addition, it seems like the games that make the most money are freemium games. Therefore, what incentive do devs have to put serious development time and money into the platform aside from cheap casual games, ports like this or freemium titles? With that said, look at IB. It made $10 million. Great money, but just a small fraction of what they can make on the console side. There just isn't much incentive for them to put any muscle into this platform.
Those screenshots must be in low detail, playing on the 4s and its amazing. trying to take some nice screenshots but when i upload to photobucket they come out really dark?? but on the 4s it is lighter. anyway, heres a screenshot If you've got retina display, save the pic and view it on your device, its looks really nice

Quick review. Worth every penny, its a big step up from the other cod zombies, graphicly and the way it feels and controls. much closer to the console version. Buy it now.....
crashy for me on ipad1 ios5. single player is fun, went to round 8 or so and got to #13 on the leaderboards. Multiplayer looks like it will be a blast, but game center isn't connecting me with any other players, it keeps timing out. Can't wait to try game center id: deenybird Edit: The game is fairly laggy on my ipad1. I would say it's a couple fps fewer than modern combat 3. While still playable, it's annoying. There is also a large amount of fogging in the distance. I assume it is in devices other than the ipad2 and iphone4s to help the game run better, but it didn't help much. The controls are great, and the autoaim helps make things less frustrating. If you love COD Zombies, this is a must buy. It is an excellent recreation of the xbox version and i can't wait to try a 4 person multiplayer match with voice chat!
Is anyone else having frame rate issues, or is this just because I'm downloading IB2 while I'm playing?
Same here, haven't had a chance to try restarting my iphone though as I too am downloading IB2 But great game so far big improvement over the last and a ton of fun to play, can't wait for the rest of the maps!
i downloaded this for my 2nd gen itouch, and it crashes every time on the activision logo. I know it says it's "optimized for 3rd gen and above" but even if it is, why would itunes still let me download it? I know i was stupid and i'm not looking for a refund, but i think this at least deserves an explanation.
Great so far *** just 1 problem ------- the shooting is just slightly broken. So many times I double-tap/hold to shoot any machine gun and it only fires a few shots if not at all. Just implementing a simple "shoot" button would remedy this.
Crashes as soon has i try to enter a level. Restarted and re-installed. Still no dice. (4th Gen) 64gig , iOS 5.0.1. 30.8 gigs free
