I love this strategy. I figured it out 2 weeks after black ops came out and it works quite well. I don't use the same guns but everything is pretty similar.
I'm pleased to see some comments on here about strategy, as opposed to tech support that presumably EA should be sorting out elsewhere. I'm definitely hoping for a new map soon. Currently SP on wave 66 on Normal mode. Just sticking it out to see how high I can chart, because there's a definite rut in playing at that level. Zombies chase you round half the map after you shoot them in the head, and the dog level takes up all the ammo in my second gun. (Leading them all into a trap is for wusses Teleporting is almost pointless because you don't need the pack-a-punch any more, and sniping from up there wastes ammo. And of course the Mystery Box lies there unused. I have to say that Normal is more fun than Easy due to the additional number of zombies. Quite often you'll get a few spawning in-front of you during a circuit, especially as it takes them so long to die that you can't predict when new ones will appear. But then again by that point you have so much cash to waste on traps (although the stage machine gun has no effect on lvl 66 zombies) that the only way you'll die is to take pointless risks to double back for power-ups or to go for that tricky head shot. Saying that I haven't used a single revive yet. The repetition of playing the game is making _me_ feel like a zombie. And of course MP adds a new element due to the crazy unpredictability of randoms leading a hoard unexpectedly in your path! Plus you can't just stop and have a break every hour. But yeah: new maps EA. Soon please, since we are all "early adopters" of a fairly expensive (for iOS) game based on the promise of free new content coming soon.
This game isn't intended for 4s and iPad 2. It's listed for all the compatible models 3G and above. It's obviously crashing due to iOS 5. All the new games such as ib2,epoch, shadowgun ( at the time), desert zombie have been crashing. Due to iOS 5 problems. Even the 4s crashes at times. I'm sure eventually activision will fix this. I haven't actually seen any 1 star reviews. Touch arcade gave it 3.5 stars. Would have been higher but the rating was due to crashing and lag on multiplayer. Still a great game though. I waited a year for this and I'm not disappointed.
Yup, definately a lot harder on normal and veteran mode. I would rather play on those modes because it is a better challenge and a lot more fun.
In Game Center you need to add 3 slots when pairing up. Then you can play with 4 players. I was experiencing the same problem before this fix. ****Game Center will only pair you with 1 other player unless you specify it to do otherwise. However, voice chat with 4 players is excruciating on the ears.
I think running iOS 5 may only be part of the problem, because I have an iPad 2 running iOS 5 and it has never crashed for me.
Well I know that a 4G ipod for instance is fully capable of running Black ops Zombies. I have COD WAW zombies also. At the time, I had a 2G ipod and it ran perfectly with all 4 maps. Shi no Numa and Der riese are graphically just as good as Kino and they ran perfect on my 2G. So yes, older devices can definately handle this game.
thanks Weehoo, I've actually have done that ( adding players up to 4) unfortunately I've only been able to connect with one other player. Maybe I just have to be a lot more patient and wait a lot longer with 3 or 4 players.
Ascension and Call of the Dead! So I was looking at the game files, and noticed that there were jingles for Stamin-up, Phd Flopper, and Deadsht Daiquiri! Hopefully this means that Call of the Dead will be released after Ascension.

Apparently, there are lots of MAJOR bug fixes, including the lag issues, and the crash issues! Edit: Nekcik just beat me! XD
This game worked once on my iPad 1 and now after numerous restarts and installs it crashes before loading the map. I guess I will just get a refund.
There is definitely an improvement, it's just not very significant. The game still feels very mediocre. no more crashes, and the game doesnt run like a PowerPoint anymore but that's not really saying much. It still feels very clunky and slow compared to the first game on my 4th gen iPod. But I've got my hopes up that it'll get better. Activision caught me by surprise with this update!
