My iPod Touch runs it perfectly, with a little hiccup here and there. This is what you do, get the game, run it once and let it load to the main screen. (make sure nothing in is in the multitasking bar) Hit the home button and go to the home screen. Turn off the ipod and turn it back on. The game should now be playable, and if you adjust the game settings (faster fps - graphics high) you need to do the same thing.
Having crashing issues with this Updated to iOS5 on my iPad 1, was able to play this game like once, since then it crashes everytime when loading map. Any solution to fix these crashes?
No offense, but not updating doesn't make you a pirate. I really regret updating my 2g iPod touch all the way because it bogged it down and made it slow as heck. I'm already seeing my iPad 1 drop in performance with iOS 5; when iOS6 comes out I probably won't update (assuming it even supports it) because Apple tends to (unnecessarily) leave older devices with worse and worse sluggish performance.

Multiplayer just sucks , I think the app as a whole is still much unpolished now and doesn't deserve the title (crashing and all) , compared to games like Infinity Blade 2 which just received update to fix the crashing issue and Bard's Tale .
Finally got to play a game with chat. worked pretty good. Game is a lot of fun with Coop chat. Can't get more than 2 players on multiplayer right now but hopefully activision will update this before Christmas. Add me, Gamecenter ID: FightingGI
I think Activision should just say that this game is for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S and older models will not support it. I think that would have prevented alot of the 1 str reviews. I know it is stupid to have an app that constantly crashes, but technology always progresses and it can't wait for those can can't constantly update.
Well I got to round 66 last night and have perfected the strategy that I think is crucial for success on this map with the current weapons in the box. I'm kinda bummed that the laser does not seem to be in this game. Either that our the chances on getting it from the box are ridiculously low. I'm putting the strategy as a spoiler cause it literally makes the game super easy, but is in no way cheating. I am happily in the top 25 for this game now w00t w00t. Spoiler My strategy in the early rounds is to use the stake out and a machine gun. I always get juggernaut ASAP. Once I have jug, I start doing full laps around the level. I like to stop behind the stage and mow them down as they come through the dressing room. I also stop in the spawn room and mow them down as they come through the door from the theater. I start upgrading my guns around the early teen levels. Once I get towards the higher rounds like around 20 - 30 range I try to get the HK and the China Lake. Obviously, I upgrade both of them. Then I just bait the zombies doing laps around the backdrop on stage. I go for headshots with the HK for any zombies in front of me and turn around every now and then for more head shots. The headless zombies live forever in this game, its a little absurd. So once I have a large group of headless zombies I bust out the china lake and SPLAT. 15 headless zombies turn in the 15 headless crawlers haha. Some of them do die, but man those headless zombies are persistent. I find headless crawlers much easier to deal with/let die since they are so slow. Just staying behind the stage is much better for this strategy at this point, way better than doing the full laps I run in the early rounds. The only real issue is when the dogs come. Then I just run through the level and set traps on them. Now point in shooting level 60 dogs. It takes way too long. I just fry the suckers in the zappers. The other issue is running out of ammo with the HK. In which case, you can use an upgraded MP-40 or M16 and buy ammo off the wall. You'll have so many points by this time that the 4500 for upgraded ammo is really nothing. Well good luck beating my score. Feel free to ask me any questions about my epic strategy.
an even better strategy wud be just run laps on the stage and run into the dressing run and use the electroshock barrier to insta kill zombies. i got to round 100 and havent fired a gun since round 60ish or so, works for dogs too
Yeah but you don't get points for shocking them! That is the better strategy for just getting to higher rounds though, your right.
idc about points anymore the broken GC support wont even send my score anymore i should be in the top 25 but it wont send my new high score to GC
To the braggers... Playing this game on easy difficulty means anybody can get to round 66 or 100 with ease. Personally, I'm a man, and I refuse to play any game on easy just to get high scores. That's what little sisters are for!
