How is the voice chat?? And do u need the headphones with the mic to voice chat?? I have an ipad 2 should i get this
Voice chat is pretty much broken from my experience. I played 3-4 games co-op and all you can hear is screaming or static. I never made out anybody actually talking
i got this game working for a little while by doing what the activision support site said and rebooting then changing the language to something else then switching back to english again. but now its crashing again. i dont want to go through that whole process again just to play a laggy game for ten minutes. yeah infibitwo is another game not working for me since the upgrade. i guess i spent almost fifteen buck s to look at two pretty icons and wait for updates. im just gonna consider the games as preordered it makes me feel less disappointed
With an iPad 2 you don't need headphones with a mic, its built-in. The voice chat isn't great, but it does its job if your not on with a bunch of kids screaming or whatever, would be nice if they would filter out some of the static. Also I personally love the game, no lag on the iPad 2 and looks pretty good. I'd say yeah you should get it.

Iphone4 This was a lackluster attempt and pathetic result. The game is full priced, yet comes with 1 level = LAME. The bonus game is a boring afterthought. The voice chat doesn't work right. Couldn't get multiplayer to work all weekend, says no Internet = BS! Avoid this trash!!!
I loved this on the PS3, and it's great on an iPad2. Standard controls work well for me. Frame rate is great at full detail. Not a single crash, so perhaps crashing reports are for other hardware (ipods, older iPhones and iPads)? Lacking a number of weapons such as monkey bombs and ray guns. Hope these get added in a future update. Voice Chat sucks, and I have to turn it off instantly to avoid my ears bleeding. Which makes MP more of a pantomime. ("Look at me jumping around in a lit up teleporter! Perhaps you'd like to join me now?") In SP Easy Mode it seems to be possible to play forever. I reached level 60 with no revives used. At that point zombies continue to run after you for almost a minute even when you've shot their heads off. Ammo is no problem as long as you just take head shots and wait for the Max Ammo on each dog level. The dogs are pretty tough at 60, and I've almost used up all my ammo on them as I run round in circles on the stage. But you can always lead them through some traps to avoid ammo usage. Anyway, at lvl 60 I got bored and suicided. Now playing Normal mode which is great. Guess I should have started on that one, but I could only ever reach level 7 on the PS3 and never even made it to the Pack-A-Punch before. However, the Game Center charts seem to go by score, so if all you wanted to do was get a higher ranking then just sit in Easy Mode for as long as it takes. My level 60 jaunt got me to about position 240, and took 4 hours. So it scares me how long some of the top 10 people have been plugging away at a single game. Looking forward also to more maps, but people on the fence: there is a lot of play value to be had out of the existing map, and of course the Dead Ops game too.

How is it a pathetic result ? They give you Kino der toten, a great map. Dead ops and more maps to come for free. For 6.99. voice chat isn't the best.... so what. I've been playing it all week, it's an awesome game. best map so far. I'm sure activision will be patching this soon.
There's a music Easter egg that plays the song 115 if you knife all 3 rocks in the map , it really boosts your energy in playing it

I really think Activison is just pissing on us when it comes to multiplayer. I realize the multiplayer isn't the greatest when it comes to online. Same problem since WAW Zombies: " your current connection can't support online multiplayer" Fix this Crap Activision.
so i don't have iOS 5^ is this why it keeps crashing on me? because that's BS, heavier games run on my iOS 4^ if this is why, i'm asking for a refund... cause i'm not ready to update
Mine runs preaty well on my iPod touch 3rd gen iOS 4.0. No crashes whatsoever. The only thing I hate about this game is controls!
I dont have access to DMZ on my router, but once i noticed the app trying to access ports 50117, 50118 UDP. After i opened these ports I was able to play with no issues at all. I would suggest anyone recieving that crazy "Connection does not support online multiplayer" should try it. Good Luck. Call of Duty + Infinity Blade 2 / Bards Tale = FUN TIMES!
