Same with IB2, I have yet to experience a crash or even a slight hiccup. It must be due to processor as the A5 is the main feature the older devices don't have. Can't be RAM related, at least for the iPhone 4, 4S, and iPad 2.
Game Impressions Few things that could do with being updated- -Ability to save game on single player, the other one had it, not sure why they have removed it. - Dual stick controls need tweaking, right aiming stick needs to be in a fixed position with the aim button detached from the stick, the controls work well but when you get to the later levels it gets a bit crazy and it makes hitting the aim button harder. The fire button needs fixing as well, been killed too many times because im trying to press the fire button but i havent quite hit the button which makes the floating stick move position, And when you've got a machine gun you have to keep tapping the button to fire (no hold to fire) -Touch controls are ok but the sensitivity is not high enough and it feels a bit jerky. (feels smooth with dual stick) - Crashed twice on me, usually when going back to springboard and then trying to resume the game. Even with those few issues though its up there with the best ios shooters. (mc3 ect) Would of been nice to be able to place/resize the controls where we want like mc3. Those controls should become the standard for any fps on ios.
I haven't played this game on anything but an iPhone 4 yet, but ho-ly shit is it ever a laggy mess. Controls are awful, the sound is awful, I may never play this again until next year when the iPhone 5 comes out. Very disappointed. This is not worth 7 bucks.
@ appbolt their in the main menu under the different menus, check the single player, multiplayer, extras, settings, etc
if u ever play online turn voice chat off there r so many little kids that scream into the mic and the static sounds will make ur ears bleed
So gamecenter cant even save your progress like dragonvale etc? Shame cos swapping devices when get home would make this game so much better but instead i have to rank up on either device?
I'd swear this game has been pulled from nz. I clicked on the link and it said its not available in the nz iTunes store. I searched it in the store and couldn't find it anywhere. Why the heck am i the only one who doesn't get to enjoy this game?
Plays good on my iPod 4g 4.2.1 jailbroken. Only had a random slowdown or 2 during the first few seconds of an online match.
Completely disagree. I haven't played on the iphone 4 though. There are differen't control options. I use tilt and it works great. Not much lag for me, but I'm positive Activision will patch the lag and crashes. Plus you get free maps when they come out. Worth way more than 7 bucks. Sucks that your having problems on your iphone. There is one thing they could improve on besides lag and crashes. That is being able to save progress on solo, like in CodWAW. ie, if your on wave 30 and you have to quit your game for some reason. You should be able to save and continue later. Hope they update it with that feature.
It lags badly on my 4th gen iPod on 5.01. Others have seem to have had the same problem. But it doesn't seem to be like that with all 4th gens as some of the last couple of posts have pointed out. My advice would be not to take the risk. Maybe hold out until an update or sale.
The graphics in this seem to be on the same level as WaW Zombies (iPhone version). It probably shouldn't matter as long as the gameplay is there but somehow it just looks/feels bad. I think I was spoiled by Shadowgun/Infinity Blade 2. Thinking about deleting this one now. Maybe there will be improvements in the future?
Man I hate it when I make a crawler and they disappear and respawn as a new zombie ! And when I sprint the character stops sprinting after like 2 seconds and I have to release , move thumb down and drag it back up . Very irritating . Plus the quick revive machine disappeared -.-
Yeah the crawlers dissapearing is annoying. The revive machine disappears after three uses I believe, I imagine its to stop people from abusing it as otherwise you could just keep on buying it and pretty much stay alive forever.
