why on earth are they charging USD $50 for this?!?! I mean, it's a good game.... but its a little out dated. Maybe $30 would be more appropriate?
What? $49.99? That's crazy? This is $9.99 on Windows. For $49.99 I could get myself this, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Modern Warfare 2 on PC. Someone needs to check their pricing.
But it's magical... I think it's more expensive because it's the only real console game in the Mac App Store, so it gets to set the rules.

Its not impossible... There are games out there on PC with split-screen, not many, but they exist. http://store.steampowered.com/app/42640/ - Blur, a racing game... http://store.steampowered.com/app/55000/ - Flotilla, an indie game... http://store.steampowered.com/app/34190/ - Sonic AllStars Racing... http://store.steampowered.com/app/8100/ - Conflict: Denied Ops, FPS... While not comprehensive, hopefully it does make it clear there is both a market for PC splitscreen games and that they are out there, just hard to find.
The shadows on the ground doesn't cast by the soldier, the car, the small object though I set Option->Shadows->Yes. CoD4 v.1.7.2 (Mac App Store Version), iMac mid 2011 21.5" 12GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.7, AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512MB.
I bought COD4 from Steam(for Windows) and just copied the cd-key on my Mac version and it works just fine.. I guess it won't work if I try to play both at the same time(kinda obvious).
Great deal for Mac!!! I appreciate that it is available for Mac on apple store. It's an awesome game and i am always playing it whenever i get time from my busy schedule.
