I can vouch for the others too. It was there when I saw it couple of days back but it's not there now for some reason. On a slightly related subject: Does anyone know if Aspyr or someone else is going to port MW2 for the mac?
The game costs $32.56 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Call-Duty-4-Modern-Warfare-Mac/dp/B00134G3AS If you are really interested in playing this game just buy it from there.
Yes I know it's not there. It hasn't been there since the first day, it got pulled within hours. It's been over a week since Lego Harry Potter has been in the App Store. He was acting like it was still there, is all.
this has already been out for sometime....like almost 2 years on the mac....ive had it since august 09'
if you get it, make sure to download the 1.5 patch and play the 1.5 version. There are less servers and even less cheaters. I play on the LID server and every guy there is awesome. 1.7 may have more maps, but the amount of hacking makes it unplayable. DirtyDeeds*LID is my gamer tag on 1.5 and 1.7 hope to see you all out there.
"Hello, Thank you for contacting Aspyr Technical Support! Our titles are currently only available for the U.S. Mac App Store but we do plan on releasing more titles in more regions within a month or so. In the meantime, the disk and GameAgent.com downloadable versions are available for purchase. Feel free to contact us with any further issues or concerns. Thank you, Aspyr Technical Support"
I find it so amazing to see this game having a similar preview like iphone apps. I suppose Activision shouldn't have made MW2 steamworks only, since they could offer it thru the mac appstore too now.
How is split screen online any different to offline? Again, do you expect a game on the PC/Mac to have split screen?
That just doesn't make any sense, if your playing online why would you want splitscreen? That'd just be really messed up.
