He/it (you're talking about the alien card, right?) will attack flying cards. But all the push cards will attack if you play a +AP card...
Was just able to buff 8 reserves (initially 1/1) all to 4/4 . Thank you gung ho, medic dispatch, and moto movers
anyone hit the level where your calculator is full up with numbers? mine now has 7 of the 9 possible spaces filled and i'm at level 10. anyone know when i get the 8th and then the 9th number? got it, thanks. i just thought it was weird that the guy has Mortar in his name yet he fires grenades BUT he can't fire until you give him an AP. good tips from the developer here: http://www.pockettactics.com/features/star-nerd-part-2-calculords-deck-building-advice-seanbaby/
Damn, I had to double check - you're right. I had assumed because of the ability.. Flak Team is the same. I thought they were attacking, but I just wasn't paying attention lol.
New strategies posted over at PocketTactics: http://www.pockettactics.com/features/star-nerd-part-2-calculords-deck-building-advice-seanbaby/ Edit: and a pleasant evening to you, too, Mack. Didn't see the extra page of posts before I replied.
at least read some of the most recent posts. that link was posted 3 hours ago... Edit: it's not a page above yours, only 2 posts. people do that all the time so was just trying to keep the forum information orderly and concise so can the sarcasm...
And I had two pages of posts to read without realizing it. Thanks so much for keeping things orderly, have a wonderful evening.
Weird, using the same device (Retina Mini with latest IOS) and it works fine for me. I would redownload and/or restart. I've played for hours without any crashes.
i got the 8th calculator slot filled at level 11 but i'm really not sure if i got it for leveling up or for some point total i achieved. seanbaby mentioned getting numbers like 13 or 11, has anyone gotten these kinds of odd ball numbers to put in their calculator?
Yeah, I won an 11 and have it in my calculator, and it really comes in handy. And, yes, your calculator slots increase as you level up, which is based on points.
thanks, i just thought there might be some added bonus (weird numbers, calculator slots, an extra rare card) based on scoring over some large amount of points in 1 game. is there anything like that you think or is it just a running total of points towards the next level?
Number of calculator slots, number of cards drawn, and your base's HP are all based on leveling up, which is based on points. Scoring a large number of points in one game doesn't earn any extra bonus, except leveling up faster. I've had games where I crushed my opponent, earned a ton of points, and won some crappy duplicate cards.
Just a friendly warning: the IAP card packs are pretty OP, especially with the cards you earn with the Fun Club. Bought the Panzer Pack and the General Traxx Pack, and I'm steamrolling over the opposition.
Yeah, I bought the tank pack and I kind of wish I hadn't. I blew through the game with little effort. The spawn 3 tanks card is especially overpowered imo, as it singlehandedly pushes 6 slots forward and at times can lead to a second or third turn victory, especially once you get more than one.
Yup, when I see that 3 tank card in my deck I know it's game over. I can see why the IAP card packs would be appealing to a newcomer to the game's mechanics, but after you learn how the game works the IAP card packs give you a little too much help. Still, part of the reason I bought 2 card packs was to help support this awesome game, so in that light I don't regret it. Multiplayer is on the way, and hopefully (eventually) more levels or another campaign.
"...but if youre still having trouble, the store has some pretty crazy powerful cards you can just buy" - Seanbaby you were warned . i just build decks using none, some, or all the cards from what i purchased then play to suit my fancy at the time. the Rarity on the card tells you they're a DLC and which card pack they're from so it's easy to sort them out.
