Yeah I hate it when the AI makes really obviously stupid moves like that.

Played the game twice so far. Lost the first one badly, second one won relatively easily. Not a lot of variety in the cards IMO, but hopefully that will change given new releases and whatnot.

Also, having looked over the cards available to purchase I have to say I am surprised the rares arent buffer than they are. in some cases they arent much better than the commons or uncommons.

Anyways game seems fun so far.

    Couple thoughts so far:

I wish there was a kind of trading mechanic implemented so that you could trade with other people. Maybe not necessary now but in the future if you ever get to the point where you have hundreds of different cards, trading would be cool.

Booster packs seem to be a good value (vs buying individual commons / uncommons / rares) but of course you might hate all the cards you end up with. How are you folks spending your money? Boosters or individual cards?

    Thats all for now :p

That would be an excellent feature for further down the line. I hope Kyy add it to their to-do list.

Boosters represent excellent value for money; you get 6 commons, 3 uncommons and 1 rare for 100 Influence. Granted, they are randomly selected, but it's a relatively cheap way to build your card collection whilst getting cards from all Cabals.

I would probably go with boosters at the beginning to get my card total up to a healthy level where I have a good number to choose from. Once I've played the game more, get a better understanding of how the cards interact with each other and developed some sort of strategy, I would look at purchasing specific cards that I might want in my deck.

Regarding the AI, I have never played a game where I can honestly say the AI is perfect, or near perfect. It seems that AI is a very difficult area to get right, especially on a version one release; as long as Kyy keep tweaking the AI, then we are moving in the right direction and it can only get better.

I think the Deck Editor screen could use a UI improvement. I don't think it's as smooth as it could be; perhaps continuous scrolling would work better than the current stop-and-start method? Just an idea.

I'm not sure if I've ever read kyy say "no," outright, to an Question. Pretty much everything that's been suggested has bee n confirmed as part of its list or designated a "good idea." there's so much that still needs to be done. Hopefully his team loves the office. Let's just remember that even a fraction of these suggestions will only be implemented after a couple months. The hope is that we all like the game enough to wait through its evolution.

I wish I had known that boosters necessarily gave a rare and 3 uncommons. I would've bought them. The description is misleading.

What's misleading? The Buy screen clearly states what you get: 1 rare, 3 uncommon and 6 common. Or have I misunderstood your comment?

Can someone clarify what Fulcanelli and Tarnhari are and who exactly is entitled to them? Thanks.

Before clicking on it, it's described as "10 random cards.". I was hesitant to lick on it because I believed it would've led me to a purchase. I realize booster packs throughout history have always been this way. I probably should've assumed.

Fulcanelli and Tarnhari are heroes for Zahir (Yellow) and Virl (Red)respectively.

Tarnhari's ability is 3R: Target unit gains fast attack.
Fulcanelli's ability is: 4R: Return target unit to owners hand.

The people who got them are those who purchased Influence and supported the developers before they put out the update as I understand it.

    Hole that helps

Nah I bought influence prior to the change and I didn't get those cards.

On a side note, I really hate it when there are cards you cant buy in a game like this, makes me want to not even bother. I know it is irrational, but that's how I feel. Still goingto buy two complete decks thursday, but now i doubt I will ever fire it up after that, because in the back of my mind I will feel like I am missing something...irrational and stupid I know.

Funny, cause I had an opposite thought, I thought it would be cool if there were some cards that were not available to purchase outright, but could only be gotten by purchasing a lucky booster pack.

I think maybe cards unavailable to buy in the store but gained through achievements, and then a peer to peer shop for selling/buying where players can then sell these.

As far as I know Fulcanelli is available for purchase in the shop. For some reason the Yellow starter decks come with Franz but have an alternative hero available in Fulcanelli.

I'm pretty sure that Tarnhari is only available to those who bought Influence at the original rate and the beta testers. If you're smarting about not being able to have him (and I thought his power was pretty great) I managed to lose over 100 rating playing with him last night. It's more likely that I'm a terrible player but I found him pretty hard to use well.

Other than that all cards are purchasable.

Possibly you aren’t looking in the right place? You need to go in to the deck editor and create a new deck.

How to look for all specific cards in the Cabals shop in Cabals for Mac? I cannot scroll down the list of cards. I can do it from my phone but I cannot in my Mac. I can see the first 7 common cards, and that's it (I choose Large display) :

I have done the math and it works out to a bit less. For instance, if you were to purchase both red and yellow starters @ 300 then fill in the rest of the blanks in order to get 3 of each card you would need 1035 on Vril and another 1020 on Zahir. So, 600+1035+1020=2655 for a savings of 345 influence.

This only benefits you if you buy BOTH playsets within the faction, however, as buying a single starter, red for instance, then filling in the blanks, will cost a total of 1530.

For reference, buying every card separately without including any starters would run you 1635 per playset.

Of course, ither of these routes would require more legwork in the end, so maybe it's not worth it for a couple dollars in savings. In fact, for the whopping $3.50 I saved myself, I could have just been having fun playing instead of crunching numbers on notepad... o_O

LOL thanks for the info though. Since i already bought individual cards i am gonna keep doing that since i have nothing to benefit by buying the playsets.
Definitely buying the playsets of new decks though!

    Hi,

email to [email protected] and they will most certainly fix the issue. You will get the cards you're entitled to!
