Honestly, it took me 4 games to really start getting the game. I had several lightbulb moments in the first 4 games, but it all really came together for me in that 5th game. I did buy Influence. Just $1.99 - to round out my points and get a booster, after that 5th game. I figured it was worth it for the enjoyment I'm getting from the game. What I figured out is....I really like this game. I think it's really fun, and . It's somewhat tough to get into, but they say they're working on it, and I believe them. They seem very passionate, and very positive, unlike the bashing from the creator of Shadow Era on Urban Rivals (he lost my business because of it). So, keep up the good work, Kyy Games!
Mine was credited a few hours later. I'm okay now and will be spending real bucks very soon. Very much looking forward to new cards.
whats the rush amn.. new cards already..? i honestly don't want to see them rushed.. kyy games should take their time. finetuning the balance on the current cards and introduce new cabals or cards for the cabals slowly.. imho i would rather see more work going into the gui, especially the multiplayer part like - extending the leaderboard faar beyound 20 entries - more details on the leaderboard (fav. played cabals of the player, win/loose ratio, - usernames in the battlefield slots instead of the cabals hero name - a direct rematch function after a fight, so you can try again with the same opponent - a log function to show what happens.. sometimes its not easy to see why something happened or what special ability some enemy card used - a friendslist to invite someone directly to a (non ranked match) - user account data on the main screen (like level, rank, xp count, influence amount) , going into dozens of subscreen to see the basic infos of your account is a bit mehh - naming function for custom decks (the icons are ok but if one makes a dozen decks icons only won't help) - deck statistics (win/loose ratio per deck) - general stats.. (influence spend in total, total playtime, etc. -extended list of cards (manual part i presume), so you can see the card+ its description in a list form.. you can better compare the abilities and costs of cards to each other.. instead of being only able to open one card fullscreen (in the shop :/ ) - then of course the ability to sell/trade unused cards for influence - more battlegrounds - more than one background music.. maybe more subtle.. the current track is ok.. but after its hundred loop, the music gets switched off.. which is a shame (if there would be more tracks) - and the most important part! there is no credits section.. and no link to your guys website or a direct link to the forum (for quick access) etc. etc. hopefully some work is being done to some of thoose points before they even consider expanding the game with new cards there are tons of diverse tactics that can be tried out (and money sunk into) before someone finished every cabals possibilities.. and maybe.. which would open up more tactics (but break the balalnce completly) would be the ability to mix cards of decks of all cabals with each other.. such decks could be limited to non-ranked matches..
Someone please point out to me where I said I want/need new cards right now, this minute and not a minute later. Okay, you're right ugly, I don't want new cards. Happy? Seriously, you are one ultra critical dude.
Lots of good ideas, but this I disagree with. I want to remember what hero I'm playing against, especially in the long run, if/when more heroes per cabals are introduced (I think there were some in the beta that are not currently in the game). Some of the hero abilities are pretty powerful, after all. Maybe the player information could be shown in the pause menu?
Well the cabals icon is already there next to the name.. Make it a bit bigger and prominent and that should be more than enough to replace the heros name.. as a reminder what cabal you are fighting After all its 4 icons and 4 heroes abilities to remember, but the usernames ( and the user himself ofcourse ) will be essential for building up a community, make friends with player who wipped the floor with you, etc. username will be more important, because you'll learn your opponents tactics etc down the road.. And know who you are facing.. The guy behind the cards is more important than the cards itself imho
maintenance break - server shutdown Servers will be shutdown now for the duration of the update. News on the update will follow soon...
Thx guys i LOVE card games on iOS. Currently playing Cabals, AC: Recollections, Kard Kombat, Orions 1 and 2, Ascensions, Riese, Battleline, Aliens Menace, Shadow Era and Urban Rivals. Hurrah for iOS card games!! Any more great card games that i missed?
Howdy! Couple questions about the game I am not too clear on and havent been able to figure out mucking about myself. 1. Is the game asynchronous multiplayer? I saw a post earlier talking about what makes a good async game but didn't see anything saying this game is. 2. Are you required to play with a random opponent? When I go to play Online, it starts matchmaking and I am not interested in random opponents. I play these games with my wife and a few other friends. Thanks much! Tango

Love this game! Thanks for the pricing update KYY! I'm strongly considering spending some more money on this, enabling me to play all factions... Concerning the ongoing discussion on the tutorial; I think a lot of people are confusing 'understanding the rules of a game' with 'being able to play it well'. In a sense, this game is like chess. The rules are quite simple, but understanding them in no way means you'll be able to win a game. To me, that's what I like about this game...you actually have to spend some time playing it, learning different strategies and figuring out what cards work well together, to be able to play it well. Easy to learn, but difficult to master. Looking forward to future updates. Especially asynch multiplayer would be great, since I would love to challenge my friends to a game of Cabals.
Holy wow I am speechless. Thank you for listening, I've put my money where my mouth is and bought another $10 worth of Influence off the bat, can't wait to try out some new decks.
I own the game but havent even launched it yet so I have nothing to comment on the game itself, I just wanted to state: Very smart move on the repricing. You actually have a chance at making a lot of money now where I honestly think you you were screwing yourself out of a lot of potential revenue before. Noone likes to fork money over to some stubborn jerk gouging them for all they are worth. It is a lot easier to convince myself to hand over my money to a developer who is being reasonable. Good on you.
