This game is the one most similar to cabals, it is really good, on the downside it has no multiplayer , but on the upsdie it also has no IAP. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=71789
Yeah, Riese looks pretty good. It's been a long while since I last played it but the production values are certainly up there with the best of them. There is a single IAP to unlock all cards for 69p/99c.
Reise uses 'pot luck' in it's combat method. Where a card that will clearly win may "miss" it's strike on another...you know....just as per chance might have it. A fatal error in my opinion. Taking Riese from a potentially awesome game to frustrating "miss" fest.
Less complaining more gaming? I think one needs to play alot more to see how much money you really need to invest to have some competitive fun.
Everyone's breath is taken away by how reasonable the IAP is priced in Assassin's Creed: Recollection.
Less complaining, less gaming. I've reached the limit of what can be done without investing $$$ on the IAP and am playing Tigris and Euphrates instead. It is a shame, this game had potential.
Seconding this. If you minimize in the middle of a game, then come back and finish, chances are high that you won't get credit for it. If you leave the game running in the background and go to a friend's house (joining another wifi network), if you don't restart/re-log in, you probably won't get credit for it. Once, after a match, the game seemed to lock up when 'saving.' You can guess what happened: after restarting, I didn't get credit. Frustrating, as I'd probably be two levels higher than I am now, if all those games had actually counted. I guess it's really saying something that the game's fun enough for me to continue pressing on.
I can better understand complaints about having to spend too much money. But it sounds as if you believe you should be able to play for free. The devs have to make money somehow.
If you had read my posts in this thread you'll see I've already bought some Influence. I am just leery of having to spend even more at the current rates. Not quite sure what you're trying to achieve by attacking me personally?
I know the developer have to make money, and I am happy to support them providing prices are reasonable; at the moment, I don't think they are very reasonable. However, it's still very early days and I'm going to wait for an update before deciding if Cabals is a keeper. It definitely has huge potential.
compared to...? Hi, Cabals is the only CCG i've really tried, so hard to make comparisons. What do others cost?? Or in general, whats reasonable generally in the market for CCG type games? Personally, I think if I can remain competitive by investing something like 10euros in a single deck (which Cabals does easily imo), that's pretty fine for me. But opening all the cabals up completely might be a bit excessive currently. But hell, i'm having fun playing with just one good deck for now! I trust the devs will bring in something juicy by the time this starts to wear on me. -m
A substantial portion of the costs will be alleviated once the bartering system is implemented. You'll be able to do the single player campaign for cards which can then be sold to buy cards you need. With a $10 investment, and the cards from leveling up to 35 or 40, I expect to have 2 fully flexed decks.
Pricing Dear people, We have been watching the pricing discussions very closely and we are going to revamp the influence system during the upcoming week. The change will be WIN-WIN for all players, old and new. Our pioneers, those who have believed in Cabals from the get go, will be rewarded and all the future players will just find the game much more easier to approach. So if you're thinking about buying Cabals influence, by doing so today you'll become a pioneer and next week you'll be rewarded for your faith in us. The official statement with details will come within couple days and will be followed by a maintenance break for about an hour. Before i put my money on this game like i do to shadowera, i really want to have a tutorial on how to play it in the game. Right now im lost and the tutorial from help menu doesnt help. See Ascension which is one of the best card game. It has tutorial that shows step by step on how to play
@mika: good news, thnx that you guys are listening.. Kudos to you @aoisora: what do you wanna know? in short you deploy units move them across the board to capture & hold important spots and try to either conquer the enemies stronghold or reach 60 dom. points. if you have specific question on tactics or so.. you might try the cabals forum.. there are already a couple threads with tactics and deck building tips over there.. but yes overall its not super easy to get into it.. either learning by doing or reading.. hope the devs are working either on a proper manual thats more than a few sentences or a real ingame tutorial that takes you step by step and teaches you everything you need to know about the basics
