    Hello!

I just redeemed my first GiftCard. In the upper right edge of iTunes appeared "10$" but when I want to buy an application it shows "Edit Payment info" window.
How can I skip inserting credit card number and buy via Gift Card money only?

    Please, reply me quickly!

Click your name in iTunes, view account, click "edit payment account" click none, and try to buy whatever application you wanted

short version: click none in credit card payment

I did. Then I clicked "Done" and nothing happened...

    UPDATE:

The problem is different, now I see it: I have redeemed 10$ iTunes Gift Card and wantd to buy GTA: Chinatown Wars.
And message says: Insufficient amount of credits! What should I do?

    Why so curious?
Seems like you registered an address in a state where Apple charges sales tax. That's why your $10 wasn't sufficient to buy a $9.99 game. Thankfully, I live in a state where Apple doesn't charge sales tax. :)

    Yes, this is the answer!
So I will have to, unfortunately, switch state to avoid tax? This is a little bit uncomfortable in my opinion...

    Anyway!

Thanks Foozelz and Nightstalker for helping me!

Problem solved, thread may be closed.

well since i made up my account anyway, it wasnt akward at all for me to change to a state without tax. oregon for example.

if you just made up your US account (whoch i doubt) i suggest you do what i did.
