Ok this may be a silly question to some, but I seriously don't know the answer, so here goes: I'm living in Canada right now (temporarily), and since my address is Canadian I had no choice but to register a Canadian iTunes account. However lots of apps and other content are only available in iTunes of other countries. I already used my credit card info for the Canadian store, am I allowed (or am I able to) to enter the same credit card info to register for another country's iTunes (for example, iTunes Japan or iTunes US), and enter some bogus information for address, if I want to buy stuff from that store? Thanks.
You can register a US or foreign country iTunes account by using a bogus address and zip code (eg Beverly hills 90210. Crap 90's TV series but useful to know the zip code!) This will allow you to download the free apps. Paid apps must be done via credit card that is valid and existing from within that country. Alternatively, try to get an iTunes stored value card and input that code for the US account. (never tried that tho).
Yeah, that's the only way to go for non-US citizens. But beware of fake eBay offers. If you could get the gift cards directly from a trustworthy person in the USA, this would really be a plus.
I have a Canadian Account and an American one. If you want to buy apps, you have to have a debit or credit card. Some people say that that messes up the updates.

I use a free Japanese itunes account to download free apps. It doesn't mess with updates. When I'm signed in to my US account it obviously only checks for updates where I download/paid for apps on that account and vice versa for Japan apps downloaded. When you sign up make sure you use some bogus, yet valid address / valid zip code. Everything else I used name, etc. were completely bogus. Having said that more and more are being released in U.S. account store so it's almost a moot point to use it anymore. Although there were a few I was able to get few months before they made it to the US appstore.
