Yes, I know that such a game won't be good on the iPhone as yet, but I answered your question, and the answer for most of the points were 'yes'.
Well, the PSP Go! can do less then what the 3GS can. Driver isn't that good because it's optimized for old hardware. The 3gs has 28 tines more powerful GPU. If OpenGL 2.0 and the GPU/CPU are optimized to their full potential (which won't happen) it will work perfectly. U will get shiny realsitic looking cars with shadows and a mush better than driver open world. Idc about te open world though. I'm fine with a burnout 3 type thing. And why would they port paradise to the iPhone when there isn't even a psp version out? It's definately possible, but won't happen. If EA made it, it would cost 30 bucks, they won't put in the effort to make an over 10 buck iPhone game, even though most people on TA want epic games that cost a lot that give 100 hours of gameplay.
The iPhone market is for those that want quick, cheap thrills. I personally don't think my iPod's the most comfortable thing to hold for more than 30 minutes at a time, and the battery life is lacking. Plus, like the guy above me said, it'll be optimized to run on all platforms (unless they go the extra mile and add in scaling, which is a big feat in itself). And when most people make threads like this, or about Bioshock, or Fallout 3 coming onto the iPhone, they expect the console experience in their pocket. It's gonna feel way different on a device like this.
Yes yes yes yes Please have burnout for iOS I love the ps3 version and I'd definitely download it for the iOS in a heartbeat this game is the best in my book games like this can only get better
Revenge was sick. Also, they could make an open world to drive around in and have race "tracks" from this (I believe Revenge had alternate routes per track that alternated via the yellow turn things). Open world races were cool, but being able to take different routes often took away from the intense action that could be achieved from bottlenecking tracks ala Revenge. Also, someone mentioned Burnout Legends. Would be an excellent port. That or Burnout 3; we've had ports of PS2 games before on iPad... Kinda off-topic, I am kinda bummed at this generation's Burnout title selection. PS3 has one (Paradise) and X360 had 1 (Paradise) + Revenge 360 (which was sick BTW, but it was a remake). PS2 had 5 O.O; what the hell happened?! Now, Criterion says they're taking a break from racing games I'd love it if EA made a Burnout Collection HD for PS3, maybe like the Burnout Anthology but in HD.
Burnout Paradise wouldn't technically be possible right now, but in a few years... Anyway, we need all of the PS2/PSP Burnout's on iOS
