That game looks pretty good, but you need a better video to show it off record something that has the game in the center of the screen, and takes up most of the screen.
I try, but I can only either play for real and drift out of the frame or pay attention to staying inside the frame and get a great looking video of me playing like an idiot and getting my ass kicked, which I think is a bigger turnoff. To get both things at the same time will take me a lot of practice...
Beg/Borrow/Steal a set of those A/V cables (egads they're expensive!) and record them on a computer with video input...
$50 last time I checked, and I might even be willing to spring for them, it's just that I remember reading that you get a lousy framerate that way, which makes sense. I do have another idea, record the inputs from a real play session and then replay it in the simulator. Still, it's not the same as a hands-on video.
Ick, sucks to hear about the framerate on the cables. You could mount the device and camera fixed to each other, and put that on something that rolls, then scoot the mount around quickly to as simulate tilting. (Or just tilt the thing I guess. )
I'm more of a software guy, but that sounds like an idea for a new iPhone/iPod accessory. You should develop it, you'd have a pretty big market with so many iPhone devs out there. I'd sure much rather buy that than some overpriced cables
Hehe. There actually is a "slide controller" for the Nintendo DS where you slide the game around on the table to play... If only my Technic Legos weren't all packed up and in the garage...
Skyye, Thats a profile, not a thread. The game is OUT! Real thread here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=29592
