hysteria project 1 and 2 any good? I have read bad reviews, ppl saying they are way too short, puzzles too hard, too much video, not enough choose your own adventure etc.
In the end, I spent the whole evening playing Bulkypix's Artillery Brigade. The touch controls are about perfect and it is just mindless shooting. So fun that I bought all the three IAPs too for extra weapons, bombs and campaign. Runaway will have to wait...
If your running ios7 there's no point in installing hollywood monsters yet cos it doesn't work...... Yesterday on the other hand is amazing so I'd definitely give that a pop
Bulkypix's Yesterday is on sale. Then there's The Walking Dead, Puzzle Agents 1&2, Tales of Monkey Island and Back to the Future from Telltale. The other Monkey Island titles are pretty well done ports too. Indigo Lake is a favorite as well, although being alone in an island makes it feel different without detailed narratives, but it is an adventure game in first person with a minor emphasis on being a shooter. Im really fond of Stargate SG-1 as well, mostly because of the sci fi theme, and the action-y flair they added to the genre. There's also Secret of Chateau de Moreau, Kaptain Brawe and Broken Sword.
I completed the first campaign in Artillery Barrage. I haven't had so much fun in an action game on my iPad since ever. Highly recommended. Now going back to Runaway: A Twist of Fate 1... Hold it. I just checked Wikipedia and apparently the Runaway games were released in the following sequence: A Road Adventure The Dream of the Turtle A Twist of Fate Now going to play A Road Adventure instead...
I like it, but not really a favorite. Somehow when i completed Hector, on each one, i got stuck more times than in most adventure games, kinda gave me the idea that the clues are a bit more vague in it than the rest of the pack. It was pretty good though, that i had brought my self to finishing it.
