    I got a question regarding built-in apps.
When the new iPad Air and iPad mini Retina will be released, Apple said that it will include built-in apps like iMovie, Keynote, Garage Band,..
Doesn't that means that there will be less free space available for your own apps, movies, etc. ? And as far as I know, you can't delete those apps.
Built in apps on classic iPad mini took me 4 GBb on my 32Gb model.
So I guess that means that you got even less free memory space on 16Gb version. 12Gb maybe?
Well if iMove and other built-in apps won't be able to be deleted, we get even less free memory space.
    :(

I hardly think apps, even built-in as you say eat up that much space. As i know, the 32GB or 16GB is the space that the device have, not subtracted from the system file. So built-in app only takes up few hundreds of MB or so. No 100MB only, not that much man.

    How about this?
    18.1 + 9.9 = 28 gb
    Where did 4gb go?

But what about if they make iMovie, Garage Band and other apps built-in? On the new iPads of course.. Aren't those pretty big apps?

Those apps are free to download for owners of new devices. They aren't built in so you don't have to have them.

I wish you could delete the built-in useless apps.

I'd happly delete these if it would let me:-

    Game Center
    Photo Booth
    iTunes Store
    Contacts
    Videos
    Reminders
    Music
    Newstand
    Maps
    Notes
    Calendar
    Messages
    Facetime

Because they are all wasting my storage space on my ipad and I never use any of them or ever will.

APPLE give us a choice to delete this trash!!

Why would you want to delete - Game Center? Without that... You might as-well sell your iPhone or destroy it.

Not everyones a fan of Game Centre

I'm not bothered by it, i come from the generation that once you turn off your computer or arcade machine you lose your score. In the mid 90's you started to get batterys in cartridges to save progress etc but not a biggie. Played Mario Land in the 80's, Sonic in the 90's, none of those saved my score yet both are classic games loved all these years later.

Game Centre reminds me of Facebook, too many fake 'friends' and showing off of achievements/scores.

I just want to play games and enjoy them, not bothered if some kid from another country beats my score or some friend miles away.

Sell your iphone or destroy it without Game centre ? Dont see whats so great about it. Think its quite sad when people wont buy a game simply because it doesnt have GC achievements

Totally agree with you here, I would also delete Game Centre if I could as I am simply not interested in silly achievements and social media tosh.

It's actually spelled Center* TBH... If they got rid of Game Center, I would jump ship and go android only. For me.. GC is the life blood if iOS gaming. A game without it, is like having a cell phone that can't make calls.

Game Centre, Game Center, does it matter ? In my country we spell it centre so thats why i obviously said that.

I cant believe how much you love Game Centre/Center.

I mean honestly, a game without it is like having a cell phone that cant make calls ? Ridiculous !!

Granted some people like GC but its not the be all and end all of games is it ? You would seriously miss out on a great game if it didnt have any GC achievements ??! Wow

And yes, say a classic game comes to iOS... And it had no GC.. I would avoid like the plague!

Totally agree with you, gamecentre never affects my purchase choices and it annoys me sometimes when the welcome thing slows whatever game I'm plaing down, however I do use gamecentre as I have some actual family on my list and we like to play letterpress but other than that I'd delete In a heartbeat.

For me I defined the centre part to mean as in the centre, the middle of gaming, but yeah you are right they mean center as in a place where people gather, never paid much attention and I'll prob keep spelling it the way I have been as it's habit now.

They're from countries like England that use English, but don't know how to spell.
